Onose River

Located just outside the Minamikawase district, the Onose River travels along the western edge of Karakura town and goes through Naruki-shi. Karasu River connects to the Onose River. Fireworks display is held here every summer.

Lanu was unmoved by her display of bankai, gripping his zanpakuto he would dash to the left in a quickened pace causing the blade to move past his being. Lanu then gave a light grin before speaking in a soft tone. Kurai Bakuhatsu(dark explosion)-This fires the energy in a straightforward path but the energy spins wildly revolving in a drilling fashion. As such, this attack has concussive force and detonates, exploding fiercely, upon clashing with something it cannot mow down. Lanu then if the attack would to explode he would use the explosion to his advantage.

If the Explosion came through he would follow up by using sonido to enter the dust that would pick up to attempt to move behind the woman, with a firm grip on his zanpakuto to attempt a horizontal slash across her right shoulder across the back and to her left hip. If she were to dodge the attack of his Kurai Bakuhatsu he would in a sonido plunge towards her in a motion that causes his being to flicker from both visible and after image until he reaches a good enough distance to attempt a vertical slash downward on her torso from her right shoulder and down.

The moment the explosion took place was when Shuuhei concealed his reiatsu for a brief moment to give him more of an advantage, though when he made himself know five feet from the male he was greeted with the blast of a Cero. Cursing silently he attempted to dodge but found himself able to only move out of the way of taking the main impact, his left side becoming burned. Half his uniform missing and frayed, marks from the burns had covered his entire left side to show the damage that was done from the other male. Narrowing his eyes in a threatening glare, despite the high tension of the situation he was able to keep a calm and level headed demeanor about him as he fought. Something which he had become rather good at the more battles he had inevitably found himself in, always trying not to let his emotions over take him and ruin his judgement. In the back of his mind he couldn't help but be worried for his lieutenant as he felt her enter her bankai form, but he knew the more important thing was to keep himself focused on his enemy right now as he didn't want to let his guard drop and risk a fatal injury.

As the fight wore on Shuuhei couldn't help but wonder if it would be best to continue waiting to release his Shikai even though his own opponent hadn't released his ressureccion form yet, the captain was skilled enough in his zanjutsu that he could carry on without the aid of his Shikai yet he couldn't help but feel if he wanted things to end quickly maybe using Kazeshini's Shikai would help aid him in his mission. Yet his hatred for the look of his Shikai made him hold off a little longer, waiting to see just how much more intense things would get before he made something of a drastic move on his part. Preferring right now to strategize using his knowledge of kido spells and relying on the sealed form of Kazeshini to continue getting him through the fight, wanting to wait until his opponent had entered his own ressureccion before releasing his shikai.

Shaking himself from his thoughts and seeing he had a short period of time to act since the smoke was beginning to clear Shuuhei glanced around quickly, locating a wall that was near the battle field behind Kali. He had a plan but he knew he'd have to act fast as he was loosing the only thing that would help cover him, so once more he appeared to vanish using his shunpo and decided to execute the plan. When he would make himself known once more Shuuhei would be three feet from Kali's right, attempting an upwards diagonal slash from the other male's right him up to the base of his collar. Should the attack succeed he would then shunpo the few feet to stand at Kali's front and attempt to kick him in the stomach which hopefully would send the other male crashing into the wall, if that failed Shuuhei would attempt to use Bakudo #62 Hyapporankan which would call forth a rod of energy which would then split into shorter rods. If the rods came into contact with the Arrancar they would pin him in place against the nearest solid thing possible, if the kido worked Shuuhei would dash forward and attempt a horizontal slash across Kali's chest while he would be momentarily immobile.

When she noticed the blast Kizomaru did her best to avoid taking a direct hit, though she still got scorched on her left side. Since the smoke from the blast was so thick it made it harder to see, so when Kizomaru dodged she ended up in the way of his blade taking the full force from the hit. The pain made her groan loudly, gritting her teeth and trying to breath through the pain from the attack. To avoid any more damage she jumped up into the air about twenty feet above Lanu, though she knew since he had wings he could most likely fly up and catch her but right now she was focused on how to get more damage in on her enemy. Wanting to try and cause as much harm as she was physically possible, even if it wouldn't be much.

Kizomaru thought for a moment, going through her arsenal of abilities and kido spells she knew. She decided on a set course of action that if successful would surely prove to do some kind of damage to her enemy, though it might be minor considering the difference in strength between the two. Holding her bishamon yari out in front of her she aimed at the last known location of Lanu to her knowledge, concentrating her energy for her attack."Nigiri no Kage (Shadow grip)!" She spoke lowly, almost darker than she had been speaking since the battle began. She began turning her bishamon yari in a clockwise motion quickly, summing the surrounding shadows towards her opponent which moved to mimic the speed in which she was spinning her bishamon yari. If the shadows closing in made contact with Lanu they would effectively make the Arrancar unable to move momentarily, if this attack were successful she would charge up Hado #31 Shakkaho and fire it at her enemy and to follow up she would charge through the smoke from the blast and attempt to slash at Lanu's chest. If the first attack failed then she would still use Shakkaho, if only as a distraction to buy herself more time to come up with a more effective course of action.

Kali lowered his hand once the cero had been fired. He could tell it had hit and for now was satisfied. This fightwas becoming longer than he expected it to be, thinking he might have underestimated his opponent to some degree. He decided to wait for another appearance from the shinigami, finding that moving to much would cause the wound across his back to flood his mind with a new wave of pain. It wasn't unbearable but enough to haze his quick thinking and get a small flinch. Kali wasn't gooing to risk the small chance of mistake.

As he waited silently and without movement, he took another chance to glance of to Lanu and the female, well what he could see of them anyway after the explosion. He wasn't worried too much, knowing better than to doubt Lanu. He spotted the form of his brother's resurrection once again. He ran over the idea of using his own, mentally shaking his head. It hadn't come to that yet.

Even deep in thought he picked up on the reappearance of Shuuhei spiritual pressure. His black blade shot up to meet the other's, as he leapt back. Catching the rod in his eyesight, Kali sonidoed back once he hit the ground again but it wasn't far enough as he misjudged it speeds. His eyes were wide as the thinner rods sent him back. A quiet growl was emitted from inbetween clenching teeth as the slice across his back was further disturbed by the impact with the wall. To many it would appear as the arrancar had given up. His head hung low, hair covering most of his face. His limbs were limp, not struggling against the binding rods. However when he leifted his head, his bangs parted, revealing a silver eye with more fire than it had held the entire fight.

"Rise Cuervo Sombra..." he whispered in a voice barely audible. Just after he muttered those words, violet spirit energy shot up around him, so fierce that it created a powerful shockwave cause the trees around his form to nearly double over. As the energy faded his new form became visible. Kali appeared to be nearly a foot taller, his hair flowing fully down his back now. His coat and pants had changed to a longer tail coat, the sleeves now covered in black feathers and cropped at his midsection, his pants were now black, leading to his knees where his body became distorted to bone white legs of a bird with talened feet. A thick armor of bone covers his stomach and his mask had stretched out, wrapping around his entire head and morphing into a sharptoothed white beack with black streks along the sides. The most notable change were the large black wings that had spread from his back, spanning a whole ten feet. In his hand was a scythe of a dark, almost black violet color, the staff of it being silver.

With a flare of overwhelming spirit energy those wings shot out, breaking some of the restraining rods, enough that Kali could mobilze his upper body. He held out his scythe, effectively creating a long shadow under the moonlight. "Sombra Cambio" he utered and the shadow his created began to morph, lifting off the ground in a black mass. His free hand waved out ahead of him, sending the risen shadow forward at a speed that sould match any flash step. It twisted together, form a drill like sharpened tip as it head straight for the shinigami.

Lanu would spread his raven black wings in process of taking off into the sky in pursuit, the blood on his zanpakuto gave his knowledge of his blade making contact against the shinigami. the sight crimson liquid brightened his eyes, but it wasn't enough lanu simply wanted to see more. he would push off the ground but to only have his body waste length and down immobile. the calm stature of his face never faltered, looking through the smoke he found that some of it began to subdue giving his view a slight clearness.

Lanu thought on the woman's next move but wasnt quite sure, as he saw this as a moment to act of face much damage he would move his raven wings in a quickened pace to clear the dust that is left behind seeing he is trapped by shadows he catches a glimpse of the woman fire a what looks to be a hado, gathering his free limbs he rises his arms gripping his blade with both hands he shields the blast to only cut the impact in half.

from lanu's head he finds his blood running down his face, unfazed by the injury at hand he would keep his focus on the woman to find that he should quickly react or face probably another attack, speaking lowly he would give a light tilt of his head in a rightward direction. "energia construir"(the ability to manifest energy(reiatsu) in the form of weapons and defenses to use for his own as well as from the shadows of his own.

the moments these words left his mouth he transfers his reiatsu into shadows forming a shield over his being to take the attack, the moment the woman slashes at the shield he would react by yet again saying under his breath as he fixated his vision as best as he could through the blood on his face. "altisimo lanza"(soaring spear) as he speaks a 6 feathers are plucked from his wings yet he would still have flight. the feathers began to glow a dark purple before soaring into the sky to only shift and come down towards the woman in a increasing speed.

Seeing the shadow drill heading for him he thought quickly and shunpoed out of the way, avoiding the damage completely. He reappeared twenty feet above the pinned Arrancar and studied the Ressureccion before him, taking in the change in strength and appearance as he looked him over through narrowed slate gray eyes. He sighed, knowing now he had no other choice but to call forth the last resort option as the battle was taking far too long. Holding his zanpakuto in a stance Shuuhei closed his eyes, taking a deep breath as if to calm himself down like he had been spooked."Kare(Reap), Kazeshini." He spoke in a little more than a whisper, his tone low yet holding a certain strength to it as well. As soon as the words left his lips he became enveloped in a light emerald green reiatsu which covered him like a sphere, when it dissipated his zanpakuto had taken the form of two kusarigama-like weapons, each with two scythe blades, with one inverted, giving it the resemblance of a pinwheel. The blades are connected to a spiked rod tethered together by a long chain. Hating having been pushed so far he was planning to find away to end the battle quickly, his demeanor changed though while he remained calm and collected he had a new sense of determination to put a stop to this fight.

He saw his opponent was still somewhat pinned in place but Shuuhei knew the kido wouldn't last much longer against the immense reiatsu coming from Kali, so he attempted to take advantage of the situation for however long it would last. Without moving from his current position he launched one of his weapons down towards Kali, the long chain giving him the ability to use his weapon as though it were meant for long distance. The blades spun like a saw blade as they propelled through the air, heading straight down for the other male with the intent to leave a harsh slice should the blow go unblocked or dodged. If the attack were to land Shuuhei would quickly draw back his weapon and shunpo forward, charging the other male to slash at his chest with the weapon in his left hand and add to the damage the first attack would do if it landed.

If his first attack failed Shuuhei would still reel back his weapon in a quick manner before he would then shunpo ten feet forward and launch Kazeshini once more, though this time he would launch it in such away that he would then control it with the chain and use it to attempt to circle Kali's scythe and ensnare it. If that were to be successful Shuuhei would quickly yank the chain and attempt to pull the weapon away from his opponent or draw his enemy closer to him for an attack, wanting to disarm the Arrancar before he could attempt to use it against him. Though the course of actions Shuuhei would take depended on whether or not his first hit would land, seeing as Kali had mobility of his upper half he figured the attack wouldn't get through quite so easily.

By now Kizomaru was becoming strained, the battle with such an opponent was proving taxing for her body. To dodge the feathers Kizomaru used her Shadow Vanish ability which she had retained in her Bankai form, successfully dodging what she could only assume were razor sharp feathers. While she was hidden she used the time to think, cursing the effects of the power limit seal which had been placed not only on her but Shuuhei and all captains or lieutenants who entered the human world. Knowing that if she had access to that extra power she could hold out more effectively until some kind of back up would arrive. She decided that after she resurfaced she would wait and see just how much longer she would last without it, hoping to hold out a little while longer.

When Kizomaru decided to resurface she did so about twenty feet from Lanu's position, wasting no time she sped forward with her bishamon yari held straight out in front of her. Aiming to penetrate the Arrancar through the gut, if that attack were to hit she would quickly yank her weapon from the wound and slash across his chest. If that attack landed she would then shunpo behind Lanu and slash across his back in an upwards vertical slash from the base of his tail bone to between his shoulder blades, using all the strength she could muster to hopefully land some more damage to her enemy. If the attack failed Kizomaru would hide herself using her Shadow Vanish ability to protect herself from any more damage, knowing now she had to be really careful so that she could hold out. Though Lanu would still have the chance to attack Kizomaru before she became hidden, the ability not being instantaneous, when it did kick in she would only take half of what attack he threw at her.

Kali went on unphased as the attack was dodged, having another possible plan for the shadow that continued on in its trail, blending in with the nighttime sky. He kept his eyes on the new glowing green that had surrounded the shinigami, sure he was correct when he jumped to the conclusion that he was finally releasing his shikai. Kali eyed the new form his weapon took. His eyes trailed over the long chain, figuring that this fight was going to go to a longer range fight to some extent which didn't hinder him much though the use of his scythe might be limited.

He instantly reacted to the throw of the weapon. Knowing he could move he slashed out with his sythe, using its full length to bat the spiralling weapon away from its target. At the same time he was putting out spirit energy against his bindings, finding that the rods were weakening quickly under his power as he was now regaining the ability to move his thin legs. His taloned feet clenched together as he tried to move, leaving deep claw marks in the wall he was pinned to. When Shuuhei attacked again he had a similiar plan as the first time, to simply send the weapon flying away from him again until he was fully free. His plan backfired though as Shuuhei got what he wanted. He cursed for not seeing it before but as Kazeshini wrapped around his scythe the tug pulled it from his grip. He still had a chance to retirieve it and now he felt was the time.

He wings flapped powerfully with another flare of enery and he was freed a secondlater. Kali launched him self from the wall, shooting quickly through the distance between him and the shinigami with the aid of his wings. "Hoja Doble" he said so quietly it was nearly mouthed. He extended the hand that once held his weapon and from the ground a the shadow of his scythe lifted to his hand. When he reache dthe shinigami, he spread his wings wide to come to a ahlt, lashing out with the shadowy scythe that was quickly fading into a more transparent black and probably wouldn't be able to be used much longer. He aimed for Shuuhei's already cero-burned chest, going from one shoulder to the hip of the opposite side. If the blade didn't land he still had his plan for the shadow he hoped his opponent forgot about. The hand that held no weapon drew back and from behind the shinigami the drilling spiral of blaness would return, drawing in more shadows from the trees from the ground and growing larger. It had gained speed since its first use, dashing through the air that appeared to seperate around it.

Lanu would let more of his spiritual energy out causing the restraints on his being to shatter, watching the woman he would give a slight tilt of his head yet again the beak that replaced his lips would open slightly while his words move from his mouth in a soft whisper. "Kage Cuervo" (shadow raven)raising his zanpakuto he would charge the reiatsu this ability lets his zanpkuto send a slash towards the opponent in the form of a raven made of shadow infused Reiatsu and in one swift slash when she grows close enough would fire the attack towards her.

If the attack succeeded it would clash with hers in an attempt to if taking head on would cause her to be sent ina forceful thrust back if she was to dodge he would then take off into the air followed by a hastened sonido towards the woman, his zanpakuto held tightly in his hands, lanu then speaks once again "Kurai Bakuhatsu"(dark explosion)-This fires the energy in a straightforward path but the energy spins wildly revolving in a drilling fashion. As such, this attack has concussive force and detonates, exploding fiercely, upon clashing with something it cannot mow down. he hoped the attack landed before she went back into hiding.

Seeing that the shadow scythe was fading Shuuhei figured that should it land it wouldn't cause too much damage since he took it as a sign it was weakening, still though he knew he couldn't really risk taking a hit from such a close range so he quickly rose one of his scythes to block. Halving the damage he took, it wasn't quite what he had expected but half was better than taking a direct hit. The slash didn't reach it's full destination, stopping half way down Shuuhei's chest. He grit his teeth as the slash had aggravated the burn marks which had already been pulsating with pain, ignoring it though he soldiered on and prepared for his next attack which he hopped would prove successful. He allowed himself to fall back towards the ground, relaxing his form and in what would look like a last pathetic attempt he threw one of his scythe like weapons straight at Kali once there was distance enough for him to do so. To his enemy it may have looked like the captain had been defeated and had become desperate in his attack but such was not his case, simply trying to throw his opponent off his real intentions and the reason behind his plummeting form.

What Shuuhei was hoping would happen was that once the enemy dodged, as he figured would be the case, he had aimed his zanpakuto in such away that it would end up behind the Arrancar which was exactly where it needed to be for his plan to hopefully work. If the weapon was certainly dodged as Shuuhei expected Shuuhei would give a harsh tug of his chain and quickly draw his weapon towards the opponents back, hoping that Kali wouldn't have payed any mind to a missed hit and would in turn have forgotten about Kazeshini. If his attack should land the damage would hopefully be fierce, causing a great wound in the Arrancar's already wounded back due to the force which Kazeshini would fall towards his enemy. Since he was using his weight behind the tug he hoped the extra force would be enough to do as much damage as he was wanting, he kept his form relaxed but his guard was still up. Not having forgotten about the shadow drill his enemy had used earlier, he wondered just how long such an attack would linger before it disappeared and would be of no harm to him.

Seeing the new comer Kizomaru stopped her Shadow Vanish ability when the shield had formed, protecting her from the blow but she still jumped back and put as much distance between herself and her enemy. Keeping one eye on Lanu she looked to the new comer who had saved her with a curious but strong look on her face, not sure who the male was but seeing as he just intercepted an attack which could have been the end of her she figured he was safe for now."No, nothing of the sort. I'd ask who you are but I don't have time for chitchat, just know that the enemy is an Arrancar." She replied to his statement, wondering if the man was serious in assuming a lovers quarrel or if he was just making a joke of sorts. She would ask him more questions at the end of the fight, right now was not the time to engage in a conversation.

Her full attention remained on Lanu now, watching and waiting to see how the kido attack from the man would affect the Espada. Though she knew it probably wouldn't have much of an effect since her enemy was quite powerful, such a kido would most likely have little to no effect on Lanu but she was hopeful of some kind of damage. She wondered if it'd be fair to attempt to add to whatever the kido might but she decided she would allow herself to wait and rest for this moment, though just because she was resting didn't mean she hadn't dropped her guard. In fact it was quite the opposite, her guard was higher now that she was taking a chance to recover some lost energy from the fight.

Kali pulled against his own weapon to try and overpower the counter attack from the shinigami but found it to be a lost cause as Shuuhei was already falling back, not to mention that the weapon made of shadows had almost completely faded by now. Dicoverit it would no longer do him any got, Kali released it and it dispersed, returning to its rightful place, stretched along the ground where it actaul scythe now lay. Now without a weapon, the espada had no other choice but to dodge the attack flying toward him. He could feel the wind of the spinning blades sweep by the tip of his extended wing, making it more aware to him just how little he had bothered to move. He didn't linger on it long, his eyes looking around and spotting his scythe, making a plan to get it back. When his eyes were searching though they fell upon the shadow of kazeshini flying back toward him. He turned quickly, seeing it just a mere few feet away, and quickly flapped his wings to propell himself aside. This time the space between his wing and the weapon was zero and blood spurted from a fresk slice in his wing. Dark red crimson dripped from the feathers there, making them heavier as a few of them fluttered down to the ground. With the wing hindered it was no longer of use and Kali faltered in his flight, starting to fall to the ground. He grit his teeth, putting out a fair amount of spirit energy to catch himself in midair in an almost crashing type manner.

His breath was becoming heavy and somewhat strained, begining to get worn down. The shadows he had previouslyy used to attack had dispersed as he lost his concentration on them. He no longer had a previously made plan to rely on and had decided to just make it up as he went along from now on, pushing aside his more thoughtful nature. "Sombra Rehen" this time his words were louder, even more hoarse than it had been when the fight began. His eyes narrowed at Shuuhei as he oustretched his hand toward the shinigami's shadow. That shadow would morph into nothing but what seemed like a puddle of black. Chains shot out from the shadow in one quick burst, speedily trying to wrap themselves around Shuuhei and bind him to his place and restrict his movements.

While this was going on, Kali Sonidoed down to the ground where his scythe had fallen, quickly scooping up the weapon. He turned in a flash to watch what would happen. He knew his chains could be overpowered, though not easily so. And as his power was getting drained he wondered just how long they would keep up. To prepare himself, he anchored his talons into the ground and gripped the silver staff of his weapon tightly, waiting to see if he had captured the shinigami or not, preparing himself for the chance that he couldn't. At the same time he could just imagine if he could. Surely he could end this fight quickly then.

Lanu would give a slight tilt of his head as he rose his zanpakuto as a lightning rod he would catch the lightning into the steel blade causing it to redirect from his blade to the left of his being striking the ground in a thunderous bolt before bringing his blade to the right of himself, held tightly in his hand he would be airborne while his raven wings swayed lightly in the air. "....brother..it seems these people dont know the difference between a fair fight.." he paused for a moment to think if he should just leave or rather kill them both, both decisions didnt way much on his mind.


"I guess arrancars and soul reapers are indeed alike.." he hated to put himself with the pitiful shinigami' before him, but indeed he knew there was no avoiding such a noticeable yet debatable argument, closing his eyes he would sonido back a few feet above the river giving distance between the three before rising his blade to lay in lightly on his shoulder.

Shuuhei was relieved to see that his attack had gone through and landed the damage he was hoping for, with his enemy grounded for the most part he felt more confident in the fact he could end the battle without much more harm to either party as he knew right now they couldn't risk the deaths of anyone. When he recomposed himself and collected himself from his fall he only had a short amount of time to react to the Arrancar's attempt to bind him, he jumped out of the way of having his upper body restrained but his legs had gotten snared by the chains. Knowing this could be troublesome for him Shuuhei thought quickly, closing his eyes and concentrating his reiatsu for another kido.

Holding his left hand out in front of him he opened his eyes, his hand beginning to glow a bright yellow color."Bakudo #63, Sajō Sabaku!" Shuuhei called with strength, summoning and sending forth binding chains made of reiatsu which if they made contact would bind his enemy much the same way Kali was hopping his attack had worked. Restricting his movements hopefully to none, knowing his opponent was getting weaker he had hoped that the bakudo he was using would last longer now. Shuuhei himself was beginning to feel the strain of battle but right now he had one goal, to stop the Espada from doing any more damage and hopefully find away to force his opponent to retreat back to whence he came.

Kizomaru narrowed her eyes at Lanu, not liking being compared to the enemy. Her bishamon yari held out in a vertical position in front of her, waiting to attack if she so felt like it or defend if it were necessary."Why not just go back to Hueco Mundo, you have no reason to be here so leave. Or I'm afraid I'll have to force you with every ounce of strength I have." She spoke, her tone dangerous and threatening. Though she herself knew that she couldn't really harm him too much more, she was still hoping that one last ditch effort of an attack would be enough to cause enough damage to make her enemy retreat for now.

She decided now would be as good a time as any, placing her left hand on the back of the blades on her bishamon yari she began concentrating her reiatsu. Charging up for the most powerful attack in her arsenal, the attack would leave her overwhelmingly exhausted whether it hit or not so she had to hope it did it's damage. Her eyes had closed as she focused and she aimed her weapon at her enemy, pouring almost every last ounce of strength into this last attack."Shadou Tsuki no Burasuto (Blast of the Shadow Moon)!" Kizomaru cried, her voice offering as much strength as she could. Firing a large violet blast which was outlined black, it was wide and strong but that didn't mean he couldn't avoid taking all the damage. She just had to hope that should Lanu dodge he would still get caught in enough of the blast and take the damage she would hope would force him to retreat, the blast barreling forward with great speed meaning he would have to act fast.

The chains ha drated out further to try and retake their hold on the shinigami but the shadow only limited them to so much length and it just wasn't enough. Kali flicked his hand, finding it to be a lost cause and the black chain retreated back into the liquidy black that retook its original shape. His talons released from the ground when he heard the announcement of a bakudo and in a flash he was in the air, a bit wobbily with his hindered wing. He held his hand toward the shadow of a line of trees and they rose up in the form of a black wall, no mare than four inches thick but he was fine with anything that might block the chains coming toward him. The wall wasn't enough to keep them all back and two of the chains reached him, one latching to his right ankle and the other to his left wrist. He felt the bone like structure of his ankle begin to crack with the pressure on them and didn't dare try and pull further away from Shuuhei.

Even in the middle of his own fight, he heard Lanu clearly, chancing a glance to his sibling and taking note of the new comer. "What do you wish to do about it?" he called out in a husky voice, the words slightly muffled through the beak of his mask. His silver eyes returned to Shuuhei and with a strong output of spirit energy to speed himself he launched forward, using his free foot, toward him, lifting his scythe as he flew through the air. Before he reached the Shinigami he whispered a quiet "Hoja Doble" and for the second time a copy of his weapon appeared in his other hand that had less movement, made up of black shadows. To not waste any of the time he had with the copy, Kali kept going, reaching Shuuhei in a mere few seconds, rasing both of the weapong and bring them down speedily at the same time, aiming for bothe of his shoulders. The shadowed scythe came down a bit slower and with slightly less force behind it but would still be powerful enough to do some damage if he succeeded.

Lanu would raise his zanpakuto pouring his reiatsu into his final attack, his eyes lite in a darker glow the rush of his spiritual pressure fills the air around him causing his raven black locks to blow rapidly. "this will be my final attack.."in one final slash forward he speaks in a low voice the fill of dullness coated every word he spoke. "Kage Cuervo" (shadow raven) this ability lets his zanpkuto send a slash towards the opponent in the form of a raven made of shadow infused Reiatsu, his attack seemed to clash in a mixture of reiatsu.

After the two attacks clashed He would cover his face bracing for impact caused by the back draft , the blast caused his being to be sent hurdling back to the other side of the river using his zanpakuto the shield his being from the male's blade. lanu would come towards the ground on his feet being pushed back he finally comes to a stop, his wings covering most of his being he spreads them and falls to his right knee in a forceful pant.

dodging the cero's shot at her by more menos summoned by the first ones cries, Maya spun to face Seth when she felt the intense hollow power. She used hyoumu's shards to protect herself from any hollows who strayed too close or warn her of anything shot her way so she was already moving when Seth shot three of his bullets at her.
She was about ready to yell at him to aim better when she saw his partially formed hollow mask and sighed, letting all that she was going to say go as she Shun-poed out of the way of Seth's saber as he lunged at her.
pulling her hand from her left hip to her right shoulder, watching as the shards of her shikai did the same to Seth except they were very sharp and, if they hit, would leave large gases and cuts from his hip to his shoulder "Seth, I don't want to hurt you so kick that hollow's ass and come back before I really have to hurt you"

Tsuyoi ran out to the river and used her spirit arrows to fire a warning shot at Seth. "this is why i hate Shinigami and hollows. they think they can get away with anything." she growled angrily and the memory of how her parent's died flooded back to her as she aimed a new arrow at Seth, bigger than the last three. 'i swear mama, papa, I WILL find the ones who killed you.' she shook away tears and aimed at Seth's feet.
"I am not afraid to shoot you hollow and Shinigami scum." she spat out.

Raising one of his scythe weapons Shuuhei was able to quickly block the attack, preventing the damage done by the real scythe of his enemy but letting the slash of the shadow blade through. Though it was slow he saw it was weaker than the real weapon and there for the lesser of two evils, the attack left a deep gash along his right shoulder which would make him his slightly through clenched teeth from the pain which surged through his being. He saw how successful his kido was, figuring he was bound enough for him to try another attack which would hopefully do enough damage to render the Arrancar unable to fight and end the battle once and for all.

Shuuhei pushed off of Kali's weapon and propelled himself backwards, distancing himself ten feet from the other male. He gripped the chain of one of his weapons, spinning it above his head momentarily before he pulled back on the chain and caught his weapons staff. Slate gray eyes narrowed sharply, planning his next method of attack. He used his shunpo to vanish and hid his reiatsu so his enemy wouldn't be able to detect his position until the time of his attack, when he would make his appearance known he would be standing twenty feet above the male and five feet in front of him. With a breath he launched one scythe of Kazeshini down towards Kali, the blades spinning rapidly like one on a motorized saw. Should the attack land it would be on the other male's chest, causing what he would hope would be a deep enough wound to render the other man unable to continue and force a retreat from the Arrancar. Not a fatal attack but one which if it hit would be disabling, having thrown his weapon with enough force to put an extra amount of strength behind his attack which would help cause greater damage.

When the attacks collided it sent Kizomaru flying back, but thinking quickly she spun her bishamon yari so that the blade was pointed down. It grazed the ground and helped slow her but the impact she received when she crashed into the tree was still damaging, though using her weapon helped slow her down so she didn't take too much damage. That last attack of hers was her last ounce of fighting strength, collapsing down on her left knee she panted heavily. Using her weapon to keep herself from falling flat on the ground, fighting the ever growing urge to pass out due to the damage taken and energy used during her fight.

Her crystal blue eyes drooped greatly, furthering her display of exhaustion. Despite feeling so tired her eyes held a strength in them, one that made her eyes shine like blue fire. Her expression showed that her guard was up even though her enemy might not be able to fight, having learned from all her training as a Shinigami that no matter what one should never drop their guard despite the status of her enemy. Her pants slowed down as she began to control her breathing, finally starting to recover just from being thrown not from the over all battle. She was still too weak to continue, just able to speak now she'd composed herself."Why not...Go back...?" Kizomaru questioned through a weary chuckle, it was a rhetorical question as it was meant more as an order not a suggestion.

Lanu breaths would settle while he rises his head taking into thought of the woman's words before speaking he pondered on the question given to only reply in a simple word. "beauty.." though he only spoke one word the word held deep meaning before speaking again to the woman. "the world of the living has so much beauty..yet its only given to these people..me and my brother..we simply came to enjoy the peaceful time..but you retched shinigami came and crashed it."


he paused for a moment coming to a stand before letting his wings flap once to lift him off the ground after that single flap of his raven wings he stays airborne looking to his brother then back to the shinigami woman. "why couldnt you leave us be? you act as if you rule everything.." he looked to the new comer with disgust in his face before brushing him from the conversation. "Hueco Mundo is dull and depressing..no such animal as beautiful as the raven is seen there.."

A sweat was starting to break out over the arrancar's exposed skin. He really hadn't expected this much of a fight but then again he wasn't blind to the fact that some shinigami were powerfu, almost to the point of his own kind but he'd never put them together at the same level despite anything he heard. Either way he had determined this fght couldn't go on, deciding it needed to end. So when Shuuhei vanished before him he was prepared to either finish the shinigami off there or let this battle continue at some other time when he could have had time to think about the shnigami's power.

When Shuuhei reappeared above him, Kali raised his weapons, crossing them together to form and Xto block the spinning weapon. He mentally begged the shadowy weapon to hold long enough as Kazeshini clashed with it and his actual scythe but the shadows paid him no mercy and soon had faded enough to become just barely solid, allowing the attack through. It was still slightly off target by his remaining weapon, instead ripping across his side and leaving a deep mark in the white bone armor that was soon brimming with blood that stained it. Kali sonidoed back 20 feet, breaking form the bakudo that held him before. His head drooped forward as he grit his teeth once again behind the confines of his mask. As he did this he saw Lanu, kneeling on the ground. He could tell the female was done with him but the newer arrival was what had him worried. Yes this fight definately needed to end now.

"We'll need to cut this short I'm afraid" he stated as though it was a forced descision and not one previously made. His silver eyes looked up to meet Shuuhei's, narrowed into a glare still. A second later he raised the hand on his un cut side and the wall he had formed of shadpw before returned even higher than before. Hoping the wall would keep the shinigami captain at bay for even just a moment if he decided the fight would go on, Kali shot down to the ground, landing beside his sibling. His wings as well as his body shone with a soft violet as he released his resurrection, using what he had left to remain standing and to open a garganta behind him and Lanu.

"We're going" he said sternly yet with subtle worry to no one else but Lanu. He ingored the pain rushing through his bodyand stepped backwards into the grganta, knowing Lanu would follow him before it would have time to close behind them. As he turned he looked back once, memorizing the faces of those present, remembering faces of those he could hardly wait to see again in a final battle to end unfinished fights.
