Karakura Town is in Japan which depends heavily on imports to make their economy thrive. Because of this, Karakura Town has a very large area full of uniformly aligned crates over a very large area. Although this area is central to the workforce of Japan, the area is so spacious there are many parts where not too many humans come through. The ground is generally well paved and cemented. The area with the crates is not covered from above, so, since it is exposed to the air, seagulls and such do come around sometimes. If there is too much damage to the ground, there is a possibility of it bursting and causing water to come from the ground, but this is very rare. The contents of the crates are very assorted, ranging from toys to fish, but there are no swords, weapons, etc. (In other words, if you drop your zanpakto, you cannot just reach into a crate and grab a nunchuck, but maybe a barbie can be found.) The area is generally well lit, having several light posts all over. Because of the amount of crates that are stacked in varying heights, there is rarely a breeze on the ground, but, in the air, because of the docks proximity to the ocean, there can be powerful breezes. Despite general pollution, the air here is quite clear. The docks are make of wood, though the wood is painted sometimes do help make distinctions, so there are a variety of colors.

Wenceslas de la Cima

Wenceslas swished into the scenery. He moved into an area far from the shore, in the heart of the docks. He landed leaning forward, his hands clenched; his elbows and knees slightly bent; his hair golden hair and matching overcoat moved forward as well. His eyes remained open and his mouth revealed his signature sinister smile. His entrance resulted in a cutting noise followed by a slight sliding sound produced by the grip of his sandals not resisting. She's fast and precise. She has to be one of the ninja shinigami. This should be the perfect area for her. He thought of the area as a good place because of the amount of crates and streetlights. She must have been good at maneuvering around such an area. She, in theory, had the advantage here. Wenceslas eyes glanced around moderately fast. He inspected the colors of the crates, the location of the light posts, then leaned back to stand erect. His arms crossed and his head leaned to the right some as his grin moved to make a more subtle manifestation of his emotions. If she gets really excited, her soul will taste so much better. It will produce enough energy to help me recover from-His hands tightened and his face grew angry again. His mouth twitched at the simple thought of Alice.

After allowing her to come to his mind, he put her off again and decided to set up his facade again, moving his lips to falsify another smile. Wenceslas made sure to stand in the area where the crates formed a passage way of sorts. He stood dead center, where the light posts stuck him well, making his overcoat almost glean. The breeze moved through the area slowly, barely rustling his clothes. He waited for his opponent to arrive, while he looked forward and kept his eyes fixed directly ahead of him. He knew once she arrived, she would need time to absorb her surroundings, but that would not take much time. He spoke aloud, once again assuming she would hear him. "It's very rude to the great chef who formed you to not know what the name of his great dish was. What was your name?" He spoke to her in the past tense obviously pointing out he believe once she stepped into the battle field, she had ceased to exist.

Not more than a few seconds after Wenceslas had arrived had Hitomi stopped in her journey. She stopped a good dozen yard away, her feet making contact on the top of a stack off crates. With the force that had been behind her normally the stack with have toppled over but they didn't even seem to budge under the petite girl's feet. She had landed in a half crouched position, on knee nearly touching the wooded lid. She took a moment to glance around at what the street lights lit up. 'Almost too perfect of a place' She counted herself lucky this time. It would be quite easy for her to fight with the set up of this place. There were several places to duck behind and take cover for sneak attacks and even with the streetlights she'd have some darkness to move about in in the shaodws of those crates. Thinking this over she couldn't help but smile. "Too easy..." Of course she hadn't taken much time to think about her oponent yet. For all she knew she could be just as talented as herself in stealth but he didn't seem the type to back away out of sight instead of pridefully remaining known.

Hearing the voice from before address her, Hitomi stood to her full height, which still wasn't much to look menacing at all with her small, skinny form. She arched a thin brow at his use of past tense, knowing exactly what he was trying too say and it made that smile on her face disappear as she glared to him now. 'Already thinking he's won. That no good, stupid, smiling...' a string of curses played out in her head as she put on a fake, but bright and cute smile that looked much too happy to mean anything but annoyance. "My name IS Hitomi Kitano. I'm the lieutenant of squad two" the blonde crossed her arms over her chest, her smile decreasing into an almost pitying pout. "And just what WAS your name, hmm?" her voice still sounded childish and sweet but there was obviously venom behind it. 'See how he likes a taste of his own medicine' She tossed her head to the side to momentarily get blonde bangs out of her vision, putting on a cocky smirk with blue eyes narrowed and looking down upon the arrancar that had lead her here. She was more or less just taunting him at this point, her overwhelming need for dramatics kicking in. Even still she wasn't into her payback to forget that this was a fight and she positioned her feet to be ready to push off for a speedy dodge if it was necessary. When that time came, when she had to be serious, she would be and probably forget about being offended. Even if she had the upperhand here she didn't dare think that this would be an easily won battle and she needed to focus.

Wenceslas de la Cima

Assumption:
When she entered, Wenceslas turned his head slightly to the left and allowed his eyes to gravitate toward the entering shinigami. He paid close attention to how excited her face made her seem and how confident she became when she took in her surroundings. He closed his eyes and grew a legitimate smile: a very condescending smile. She is competing for my interest. He moved his feet in place until he rotated to where he faced her, now looking at her head on. His footsteps made audible slaps against the ground, adding to how careless his demeanor was all around. His robes continued to move some before swinging back about twice then stopping. He continued to face the ground with his eyes closed, as the shinigami introduced herself and gave off her retort to his remarks. "Hitomi..." he said softly, yet with just enough emphasis, so she could just barely pick it up, since he now understood she could and could not hear. He continued with his eyes closed, listening to her shuffle up and stand prepared to konw where she stood.

Once she gave her final question, Wenceslas gave off a lighthearted "Hmph" and raised his right hand about half a foot from his overcoat. His right thumb moved over to the tip of his middle finger while a small deep red sphere, formed to the right of his middle finger. Wenceslas quickly slide his thumb against his middle finger, not only causing a large snapping sound, but also propelling the red sphere at a moderate speed toward Hitomi. If the bala contacted her, the speed it moved at combined with Wenceslas relatively high level of skill for arrancar techniques would cause her to get knocked off her feet, and, since it moved at her rib cage, definitely crush a rib or too. Whether the bala hit or not, Wenceslas did not care.

His head rocked side to side while the bala soared through the air. He kept his body in the same position - save his back which leaned forward some - it took when he flicked the bala to make her understand he likened her to something like a dog, which he snapped at and it should get its act together. "So you truly are a child, to where you simply use mimicry?" His question carried through the air with a clearly demeaning tone. He tilted his head back up again to where a shadow gloomed on his face, so his facial features where hard to see; all except his luminous, wine red eyes which emitted a taunting stare at her. A grin crept onto his face right before he declared to her, "Your just so cute and childish, I will just have to consume you." After he stated that his whole body leaned back, his arms flung out to the sides in a grandeur way, his overcoat flowing back with his body, all occurring as he proclaimed, "A meal fit for a king!" If he did not embody pride, then he probably transcended this emotion.

Hitomi waited for an answer to her half-hearted question. She honestly couldn't bring herself to care who this guy was she just wanted to make a point when she had asked. In the back of her mind she really didn't think she'd get a name back as a response. The arrancar obviously looked down on her, from a very high pedistal, so why would he tell her his name. This enraged her all the more and she could swear she felt her brow twutch in anoyance. 'This guy...he really ticks me off...' the tone of her thoughts was seething and made her blood near boil. The petite lieutenant almost stomped her foot down on the wooden surface of the crate she stood upon but didn't want to ruin her footing. Not to mention she had already made herself look enough like a child with her mocking tones and gestures, another thing that wore on her nerves. Afterall she had almost retorted earlier that she was no child, something she wasn't portraying very well.

She was dragged away from her complaining thoughts when she heard a loud snap. It instantly caught her attention and she refocused on Wenceslas, seeing a crimson bala heading her way. Hitomi spared the time for the arrancar to see her smirk before she pushed off with her feet, seeming to vanish in a shunpo. She made herself know again on another tower of crates, now standing behind the male. "Is that really it?" she taunted with the same feigned prideful tone as before. She again had her arms crossed, her hip stuck out to one side and she shook her head. "Honestly if you're gonna act all high and mighty you should have the skill to live up to it" She was pushing buttons and she knew it. She swallowed a lump in her throat, wondering if she was maybe pushing a bit to far but she didn't let her cocky smirk falter for a second. "King? In your dreams. If you think you can 'consume' me. You're in for a rude awakening" she halfway rolled her eyes, though did keep her attention on her opponent enough.

Her hand was now resting upon the violet silk covered handle of her zanpakuto. She readied herself for another attack, crouching down incase she had to make a quick get away once again, but also halfway drawing the blade which caused the soft sound of the metal scraping along its sheath. the shining blade flashed under the light cast by a street light as it was drawn. Hitomi wondered if she should go ahead and use her shikai and make this fight aa little easier. However her taunts stopped her from doing so. If she was really going to make this arrancar think he wasn't so much above her then she couldn't do such a thing yet. She couldn't match his sickening level of pride if she used it right away and gave him some level of credit. To further go on with her plan she remained standing where she was, not making an attack as if it weren't even worth her time.

Really now she wondered how smart she was being. She should go ahead and get this over and done with before things got out of hand. So she sighed out softly, putting on a pout for a moment as she slumped forward, deciding it was time to forget about how annoying this arrancar was. with that in mind she drew her zanpakuto the rest of the way, holding it out infront of her with both hands on the hilt. "Might as well get this over with..." Even now she was trying to seem somewhat prideful though one could easily tell it was being forced at this point. Hitomi launched herself from her place on the crates and the power behind it sent them toppling over with a loud crash. She landed not a foot from where Wenceslas stood, ducking down some and slashing upwards with strength unnatural to her size that matched its speed.

Wenceslas de la Cima

Assumption:

Wenceslas kept his arms open and a gallant smile on his face. Because he had the liberty of working with someone who continued to try to insult him, but, ultimately, ended up only affected by his statements, Wenceslas slowly continued to recover his pride, the one still shattered by Alice de Ezma. Wenceslas eyes dropped for a second along with his smile because he lost himself in thought about his recent skirmish. It truly pained him to think about the girl because of how bold she spoke and acted. To think someone would disrespect him so just did not sit well with him. When Wenceslas' pesquisa sensed Hitomi appear behind him, he allowed his hands to drop and his face moved into a more normal, neutral facial expression, still holding a slight, forced smile. As Hitomi spoke, Wenceslas turned his body toward the left at a slow, easy pace, keeping his clothing stable. Every step could easily be heard, his tabi slapping the floor like if no one’s business. Wenceslas had this air as if he could care less what happened. Was he feigning this behavior?

"Act..." Wenceslas whispered again, this time looking straight at her. As she spoke, Wenceslas listened to her response to his insult. He noticed how angry she grew, yet she did not convince him that her comments came from inside of her. Before she even finished her string of comments, Wenceslas turned to his left, and took a step with left foot to proceed to walking away. "How boring." Suddenly, his pesquisa sounded the alarm. Wenceslas heard the sound of the zanpakto ejecting. The amount of tension in the soul to his right dramatically increased. Wenceslas shot a glance to his right just in the nick of time. He observed Hitomi basically disappear, most definitely coming at him. From what side? Wenceslas did not have much of a clue about his opponent. He knew she had speed and seemed to know how to maneuver well, but he had no idea about her in-battle skill, so he made the safest move to avoid the only two attacks he could think she would do.

Wenceslas pushed off of his left foot and lifted his right foot so that he spun toward the right with his robes and overcoat lagging behind him some, along with his left hand which spun awkwardly, as if tied to a weight, with its fingers curled. Halfway through the spin, Hitomi appeared to his now left and launched her attack from about foot away. Wenceslas looked down at her with a haughty - and pretty creepy - smile with his eye opened partially. "Feisty, huh? Never found a deer which charged at its hunter before the threat even presented itself." His voice carried with an excited tone, revealing his mood had lightened. His hair shook at the actions that took place, due to all the speed going about. So she's even faster than me, her movements are more defined than what I can currently pull off, and that slash probably could have overcome my counter. That slash probably wasn't her best though. Wenceslas smiled so hard because Hitomi's attack allowed him to define some of her strengths quickly.

"Catch prey," Wenceslas declared in a lighthearted way. His right arm moved up from his side where it lay before and swung at her. While moving up its trajectory, Wenceslas quickly formed a bala. The red sphere, about the size of a tennis ball, flew at Hitomi's side a moderate speed, but, because of the proximity and its path toward her left shoulder, which definitely had to move forward because of inertia, she probably did not have the time or position to dodge it. Hitomi would have to apply a countermeasure to protect herself from the ball of condensed reiatsu which would probably dislocate her left shoulder and launch her into the metal, red crate behind her if she did not stop the attack. Wenceslas went on to plant his right foot which swung over to make him face his original position, where Hitomi stood. His eyes looked at her intently, waiting to see her next move. His left arm moved in front of him in a prepared, bent position with his left hand now covered by his golden overcoat - which oddly did not glow despite the light and its golden color - while his right hand assumed a similar position, only it remained exposed.

'He sounds so excited' she thought to herself as her blade met nothing but air. She heard his words, taking them in. So he still felt she was the prey in this fight. She narrowed her eyes into a glare that she directed up his way. Her entire childish demeanor was gone now. In its place was that of a strong fighter just trapped within a small, frail looking body. An air of seriousness radiated from her being and those light blue eyes that were usually so innocent told it all as they looked at Wenceslas with deadly intent, being the essence of the phrase "If looks could kill...". She allowed the smallest upturn of her lips at this point, being mocking again for the briefest of time. "Its not always the prey that falls you know" Hitomi basically spat the words out like venom. She really couldn't help herself being the type to all but control their emotions. Even in a time like this she could only be fully serious for so long without her short tempered nerves getting the best of her.

However just a second her smirky look was gone. She had been stupid and not retreated back when she had the chance and now another blood colored bala was heading her way. It was the same speed as the first but the distance it had to travel was nothing. It was an attack she couldn't manage to dodge, even with the speed she had on her best day. Thinking quickly she swung her sword downward, not aiming for the arrancar this time. Instead it was used much like a shield. The bala impacted with it rather than her shoulder which she assumed would have been the worse of her two options. There was a ringing sound of something striking metal as the bala hit her zanpakuto and at that same moemnt Hitomi was flying backwards. She had never imagined it would have such a strong force and as she was sent backwards a look of pure astonishment had now fully replaced that almost dirty look from before. She narrowed her eyes again and grit her teeth, not wanting to please Wenceslas with that expression for long.

If she remembered correctly there was a crate behind her that she was now heading towards in the air. She twisted her body now so that it was parallel to the ground. Her feet made contact with the metal surface of the side of the crate. "Ahhh..." a hushed, breathy cry escaped her lips to her dismay. The shear force behind her made a surge of pain shoot up her leg from the impace but she didn't let that stop her from using that same leg to push off into another attack. She was sure this idea would hinder that leg for a while but it didn't concern her too much. Even with a limp in her step she figured she'd still be faster than the arrancar unless there was something he wasn't showing. The blonde questioned that though due to that fact the to some degree his movement were awkward, more so that left arm.

She took all of this into consideration when taking her aim, even in the short time her speedy travel took. In just a matter of a second or so she was infront of Wenceslas again. With her place still in midair she brought down her zanpakuto with full force, diagonaly slicing toward his left shoulder to possibly cut across his chest. Her feet finally leanded on the ground once again and she found out her assumption had been correct as a pain throbbed at her ankle. 'Dammit...' she cursed within her mind, using all of her will not to wince as weight was put on that foot. It was nothing unbearable but would most definately make things more difficult if the fight last long. She'd have to get back to her more stealthy style if that was to happen. It wouldn't be a difficult task. This place was practically a dream come true like she had noticed before after all. She had already decided the shadows would be a soon destination whether her current attack hit or not.

Wenceslas de la Cima

Assumption:
Wenceslas watched Hitomi deal with the close range bala carefully. His feet already planted and standing in a fighting position, he stood prepared for a deflection or an incredible dodge, just in case Hitomi surprised him and negated his assumptions. Her natural desperation concealed itself behind her serious facial expression as she slashed, or rather blocked, the bala. Wenceslas watched the way she handled her katana in such a difficult situation. The arrancar's face remained fixed looking at the girl as she moved backward. Hmm. Wenceslas understood how she worked now, and, now, he felt prepared to attack her now. As the girl moved closer to the crate behind her, propelled by the bala, Wenceslas turned to face her. With a silent and cold face, Wenceslas lifted his right hand quickly, pointing it toward where Hitomi flew because of the bala. His index and middle finger extended, causing wine red glowing particles to swirl into making a galaxy shape about the front of his fingers. He gave off a small smirk and allowed his eyes to narrow some as Hitomi collided with the crate. When she deflected against it, his expression did not reflect amazement for her decision. Instead, he showed anger. "Temme!" he shouted at her sternly as she moved at him.

She could move fast and definitely hit him, had he not already moved into a fighting stance. Using sonido would not allow him to have a good position to use another attack, so he resorted to his normal instinct. His knees bent quickly, all of his robes flapping down due to drag forces pushing back against them hard, since Wenceslas crouched quickly because of the speed Hitomi had would prevent him from dodging if he did not move quickly. Almost immediately after he shot down, he propelled off the ground straight into the air. His clothes did not even make it to the ground, much less to his thighs before he shot off the ground. His dexterity with his body did not really help his cause, though. As he moved upward, the clothing resisted his ascension a minimal amount, but just enough to make him lag a micro second, but, in this instance, a micro second took too much time. The wake Hitomi left behind her flung Wenceslas right foot at a really odd angle, causing his to flip into the air, doing a sort of side flip and spin to make him face toward Hitomi. His face showed his frustration as his body spun in a non-aerodynamic fashion, leaving Wenceslas more in swirl and flail. His left arm moved awkwardly again, acting as a weight, his right arm and legs still extended, making him look pretty clumsy in the air. His face reflected this frustration, not as much because of how he looked, but because, if he did not find a good aerial position, he would plummet to the ground and fall into a disadvantage.

Chikusho. He knew this state could not lead to anything good. His right hand reported good news to him in these few seconds he spun in the air. The cero seemed to have completed its necessary charging, or at least just enough for Wenceslas to shoot it. Wenceslas eyes closed some, giving his face a calmer expression. In one of his random flips, he lined up with Hitomi. Without a hesitation, Wenceslas extended his right arm and fired the cero from behind Hitomi, about twenty feet in the air. The reshi particles in the cero would not hit as hard because they did not have a chance to accelerate past the moderate speed of a bala, but the cero would cause a good amount of damage to Hitomi if it hit her. Wenceslas main reason for firing the cero lay more in his desire to stabilize because of the wider radius of his cero and the force the deep, wine red blast would have against him.

The center of the cero lay only half a foot behind Hitomi, but its radius spread about eleven feet from the center. The paraboloid blast launched Wenceslas backward at a good speed at a light post behind Hitomi. Wenceslas extended his weighted left hand which helped his body stabilize as it moved backward to the light post. Wenceslas collected reshi particles in the air to make an invisible surface on which he could slide back all the way to the light post. His tabi squeaked all the way back because of their grip did not necessarily add much friction, but, sure enough, Wenceslas made it onto the light post, with his left hand still extended and its fingers curled. His face, throughout the whole shenanigan, constantly gravitated toward Hitomi, so he could know where his threat stood. Once he landed, his face had sweat break from some of his pores, along with heavy breathing coming from his mouth, not caused by weariness, but by fear that things may not have gone the way he planned.

Hitomi was surprised she wasn't fast enough for once. If she had arrived a second earlier she wondered what the outcome would have been. There was no use lingering on the past though, not when her opponent was all but gracefully flying through the air. 'Really...?' she thought to herself as she took a moment to just watch his movements. They really did seem to have some different strengths, their speed and swiftness being like polar opposite from what she had observed so far. The blonde lieutenat couldn't figure how some one who seemed so strong could just flip around so unpurposefully like that. She had seen the formation of what what likely a cero, but she misjudged it, thinking that it would be just as slow as its creater. That was a mistake though. As it was fired toward her she was already in a position to sunpo out of its way but the second she put any weight on her injured foot her ankle gave out and her foot twisted out from under her, causing her to faulter. 'Bad!' Now in a kneeling position she turned her head and the cero was basically there. Pushing of with her good foot as well as her arms, Hitomi lunged forward, able to avoid a full on hit from the crimson cero. With the unusually awkward way she moved her left side was caught in the cero that left her unifrom somewhat frayed and the skin of her arm nearly seared. A trip to the fourth division was most definately in her future now if it hadn't been before.

Somehow she managed to land a good twenty feet from where she had just stood. Hitomi forced herself to stand up right as she let her mind clear of the pain along the left of her body. She'd have to rely on her Shikai with the she was in now. Icy hued eyes didn't need to look around long before they fell upon Wenceslas. Her back was no longer to him and the light from the street light illuminated his form plenty. She glared ahead at him for a moment, her zanpakuto held out ahead of her. "Shutsubotsu suru Korinoseishin" the petite girl called out and a light blue glow of spirit energy formed around her small form. When it cleared out her blade had taken a new shape, much resembling a kusari-gama. A long silver chain conected the scythe like blades of violet on either end that appeared to be covered in a layer of thin ice. The chains had the same effect and the entire weapon gave off a sparkle as it gave off several particle of ice. Hitomi's small hands gripped the handles of each blade, reaching out and hold them both infront of her.

First thing first though she needed to hide out somewhere for whatever amount of time she could get. "Hyoheki" she whispered and the particles already given off from Korinoseishin all joined together, begining to form a wall out infront of and all around Hitomi. It grew taller by the second and within just a short time was standing at a good ten feet. 'Thats enough' Hitomi took both blades into one hand and using the other aimed her hand in the direction of the ice wall she had formed. "Hado 31, shakkaho" A red blast erupted from her hand and resulted in the distruction of the ice. The ice created a large, tall cloud of mist and sharp shards of remaining ice that stretched across the area of the oppening between crates. It was more than enough to give her the cover she needed to flee, finding that she was still much faster then she expected.

Once out of the cover she had created, Hitomi quickly turned and hid behind a group of crates. She took a deep breathe before peeking out, keeping an eye on Wenceslas if he hadn't already moved from his place upon the street light. Either way her plan remained the same. "Bunsan shita yuki" as the blonde whispered such wordsher shikai almost seemed to completely vanish, leaving fallen snow in its place. It wasn't gone though. She still held it within her hand it had just become transparent, unknown to anyone but her self. She now gripped the chains rather than the blades themselves. To any onlooker it would seem like she was doing nothing more than clenthching her fists, a trick she had learn to use so it wasn't to obvious that she was indeed holding something.

Once she had a lock on the arrancar's position she dart from her place behind the crates, Hitomi didn't dart straight out into the open again, instead weaving between crates that would keep her hidden. When she was close enough, Hitomi launched one of the sickles blades of Korinoseishin up toward Wenceslas. She wasn't aiming straight for him of course. She planned to let it pass by him. He would hear its cold chains rattle as they shot past his left side. It was then that her shikai would become fully visible again. Hitmo then pulled back on the chain which brought the cold hooked blade back toward Wenceslas. There was roughly 15 feet of chain between the violet weapon and the arrancar at that time and Hitomi wondered if, even for his speed, she had waited to long to pull back.
