| Located some feet behind the barracks, the office of Division 12th Captain's Kakashei Haruko is also used as a sleeping quarters and lab. As you enter, tor eyes meet a desk located at the center of the room. The color scheme mainly consist of purple and black, the walls being purple and the floor tiles being black. There is a hall to the left and to the right of the desk. The one to the right leads to Kakashei's bed room, will the one to the left leaads to a staircase that leads down to Kakshei's labatory. His labatory consist of a large computor where Kakashei uses to analyze data. There are many different types of experimentations that occurs down in the labatory. Some beiing labeled as fails while others are labeled as successess. Not many are allowed in his labatory, except test subjects and his leutinent, when authorized. Because he spends most of his time in his labatory, Kakashei has set up a bell system. Upon his desk there lies a bell, this bell is able to be used by vistors to notify Kakashei of their appearence. | |

| Shinji was bored today, which wasn't exactly surprising. Not a day went by that he wasn't bored in the Soul Society, but he did enjoy being a captain again. While he was in Karakura Town, he was able to frequent the clubs and listen to jazz music to his liking - but now, it was just work upon more work. What better way for him to become un-bored, than to bother a fellow captain? He made his way to the Research and Development barracks in little to no time at all, allowing his full power of the speed to send tiles off the tops of roofs flying. Hopping over each individual section of the barracks, he came to a small, quaint building a few feet away - which had to be the office of the captain. Sliding the door open, he made his way to the center of the room, which only revealed a desk, no captain. Shinji was irritated at the site and then his attention was drawn to the simple most attractive thing in the room, a shiny bell on the desk. In the back of his mind, he thought it was to get the captain's attention - but he had other plans for it. With his right hand, he slammed the bell repeatedly till the sound plagued the entire room - which would have to draw out his comrade. While he was being an irritant, he began yelling out towards every direction he could - trying to gain his attention. "Kakashei! Baka! Why are you still doing work, this is a day of fun and rejoice. Quit being so boring and come out to play! Don'tcha know that working nonstop doesn't make you as beautiful as this?" | |

| Kakashei always thought ahead on things, instead of telling others of his departure, he would leave a note of some kind. In this case, Kakashei left a voice recorder. At the sound of the bell, the machine would play from multiple areas of the room. "Hello..... Hello? Is this thing on, ah, well. I see that someone has enter my office during my departure. But sadly, i am not in the soul society at the moment. I have went off to Karakura Town, to research on the visords and their power. So, i shall return soon, and i will be sure to return back your visit, if i remember. Thank you, goodbye. Now, is it off? Good, do i look like i am gaining weight? What do you mean maybe? I am your captain, you are suppose to say no...... Wait! Its still recording, turn it off you imbecil." the recording cuts off after that, and records bac for its next visitor. | |

| As the recorder went off, it caused Shinji's eyes to widen slightly. It had taken him by surprise, and he didn't like anything getting the edge over him - especially not technology. The fact that the voice recording was even there was unprofessional in his eyes, and seemed utterly useless - but it wasn't his decision. Shinji laughed slightly at the thought of having to use such a thing, but then again this guy was always in a lab, Shinji was not. Once it had finished, he sighed in irritation at the fact that it had lasted so freaking long. First off, it was unprofessional to act like that around your subordinates and minions - so Kakashei lost respect points there. Unfastening Sakanade, his zanpakuto, from his side - he lifted it into the air. With the sheathe, he tapped the bell and caused it to break so no one would hear that infernal racket, ever again. As he began to leave the office, he threw his hand about in a nonchalant speaking fashion, and said a few things as he exited the premises. "You are definitely a baka! Leaving all of that junk to mess with my head. Could have at least played jazz in the background to counter act that boring stuff. Geez...." And with that Captain Hirako was gone, and headed back to his barracks - or somewhere else to irritate someone. | |

| Flashstepping into the vicinity, Kakashei made slow strides. His officers did not recognize him without his robe, until he nodded and waved to them. Greeting all that he saw before coming to his office door. Entering, his first and only agenda was to see what that idiot Shinji, did to his bell. Walking to his desk, he frowned at the site of his bell scattered upon the desk and ground. "He deserved what i did to his office, that jerk." he states as he put the pieces into the trash container next to his desk. Closing the door, he headed behind his desk. Looking to his robe as it stood hooked to the wall, turning he sat down in his chair. Looking to the stacks of paper he had to fill out as he pulled up to his desk. Picking up a pen, he set off into reading and filling out the forms, while in the back of his head he stayed irritated by the fact of not getting the information he had set out for. | |

"But I must explain to you how all this mistaken idea of denouncing pleasure and praising pain was born and I will give you a complete account of the system, and expound the actual teachings of the great explorer of the truth, the master-builder of human happiness. No one rejects, dislikes, or avoids pleasure itself, because it is pleasure, but because those who do not know how to pursue pleasure rationally encounter consequences that are extremely painful. Nor again is there anyone who loves or pursues or desires to obtain pain of itself, because it is pain, but because occasionally circumstances occur in which toil and pain can procure him some great pleasure. To take a trivial example, which of us ever undertakes laborious physical exercise, except to obtain some advantage from it? But who has any right to find fault with a man who chooses to enjoy a pleasure that has no annoying consequences, or one who avoids a pain that produces no resultant pleasure?" |
