Tryouts (RP Samples Here!)

This is where you post your role-play sample to become a captain, Espada, or sin; obtain a visored or canon character, or obtain a bankai. You can only try out for one character at a time.

The RP sample can have any kind of setting, situation, or character. If you're trying out for a canon character, you must use the character you are trying out for in the sample.

There is no specfied length that it has to be, as quality is more important than quantity, but the longer it is, the better.

Post your sample in this topic and wait to be approved or disapproved. If you are disapproved, you cannot tryout again for a week. There are no third chances.

Entering the world of the living he found himself in a field uninhabited by people, it was the training grounds for the soul reapers in training. he saw the barren land for it only held the smallest of plant life, approaching the mass of hollows as ordered by the head Captain, he looks left and right wondering to himself [how could so many hollows show up in one place..quite strange] he came to stop in the middle of the hectic scene, seeing the running of the shinigami in training he stops one with a light touch on their right shoulder. "fear not..this will all end soon." the captain gave a gentle smile, with a turn of his gaze. the gentle breeze carried his short silver locks on a soft wave. The captain then took his right hand laying it softly on his zanpakuto hilt and in a soft whisper he closes his eyes, the moment they come to a shut the hollows come at his being he speaks. "break from the shadows and strike..Yuurei" the moment he speaks such words his pulls his zanpakuto from its sheath causing his spiritual pressure to flourish rapidly into his shikai "Kage Dansu!" raising his blade he strikes ina forward thrust sending a thick shadow like reiatsu towards the hollows before him, upon striking most he leaped forward into the mass that remained. his mind remained focused in battle [Yuurei..lets finish this] he thought to himself with such seriousness. "Manifest from the shadows and claim dominance Teikoku Yuurei" the outburst of words sent his spiritual pressure beyond that of a what it once was, now raising his sword upwards towards the mass he knew within moments if he didnt react he would face the stinging rapture of the Hollow's claws in his flesh. "Kuro Inazuma(black lightning)" striking down towards the mass, from the sky strikes down black bolts of lightning causing the remaining hollows to crumble at his blade. the captain slowly descended back to the ground to only sheath back his zanpakuto.

A tall dark skinny man with long black hair that reach down to the center of his back, his eyes golden with snake like pupils. Upon his face was his half mask in which went around his right eye an then ran down to his chin. He wore a whir vest that the arms were ripped from the vest. Upon his left shoulder was the number 4 that could be seen as the wind moved the vest. He would enter the world of the living an stood within the air high above the city. Looking down with his golden snake like eyes he would sonido down to the ground level behind a shinigami. Using his right hand he would gracefully raise it spreading his finger gently. Within a flash he would swing his right hand towards the left smacking the shinigami through a nearby building an out the other side. Lowering his hand once more to his side he would turn fully towards the shinigami an walk over to him showing no emotions as he walked. Reaching the shinigami he would lean down reaching out with his left hand grabbing him by the throat an lifting him up into the air as he stood straight up once more. The shinigami face would look in horror as he mumbled out a few words. "Who.. Are you?" the shinigami would say shakingly. Looking into the shinigamis eyes he would raise his right hand an place his index finger against his chest. "My name is Yokashi number 4 espada." he would say in a low voice as he pressed his right index finger forward with little strength sending his whole arm through him with ease. Removing his arm he would drop the shinigamis corpse an turn way from the body an sonidos away in the blink of an eye.

The large area has been abandoned for years. Its rock terrain is completely intact, spreading endlessly toward an unseen horizon. The false sky mysteriously hangs about the area, helping those who once trained here trick their minds into believing they are in a vast space as emulated. There was no breeze nor could there be one because the region was secluded. Because it was secluded, it had a fixed weather and time of day, always seeming cloudy and sunny. These conditions caused some to believe the area was too ideal it would degrade the skills of those who practiced there, but the two who used the facility most were arguably some of the strongest shinigami.

Those two shinigami, Urahara Kisuke and Shihoin Yoruichi, had vacated the area - and Seireitei altogether - leaving this area vacant for about 110 years. That being said, the entrance of a light body caused a loud echo to thunder through the whole area. The body entered swiftly, its landing shooting a cloud of dust into the area, fogging the arrival spot. The hole from which the being entered remained open, leaving the sky with an awkward hole, fitting of Chicken Little's accusations. Those accusations escalated when the area around the hole cracked in unison with a loud thud from beyond the firmament. From the cloud of dust, a familiar body emerged, dragging some dust with it. The first thing to emerge from the dusty cloud was a head. Straight black hair curving off on the sides and two pony-tail like braids covered in a white lacing with yellow rings approximately six inches in diameter. The body followed, making it easy to identify the one who entered as Nibantai Taichou, Soi Fon.

Her face looked upward toward the pseudo-sky as her feet guided her body which was moving from the dusty cloud backward. Her gaze seemed cool but her fear was evident in the trembling of her eyes. On her right hand was a golden claw covering her right middle finger, extending its golden luster about 10 inches forward. Suzumebachi had already been released, yet her eyes remained perturbed, staring expectantly at the hole. Shortly after the first thud, a second hit caused a large body to break through the sky and release a body which descended toward the ground at a regular rate. Soi Fon's face because of the ominous causer of the cracking quickly became a glib smile.

The body from the sky could not easily be identified by a passerby because of the dirt cloud Soi Fon left when she came into the practice grounds, but Soi Fon did notice the body was accelerating at gravity's normal rate. Careless. Soi Fon's thought was quickly followed by her feet to plant themselves on the ground, right before left, and, without a sound or signal, Soi Fon vanished. Only nanoseconds after her shunpo, the cloud of dirt had a path made through it where Soi Fon emerged several meters from the dirt, standing regularly. At the wave of her hand, Suzumebachi reverted to a katana in a wreath of golden light. While Suzumebachi transformed, the dust in the air shot off in all directions revealing a large, black, butterfly-like symbol suspended in air. Soi Fon glided upward into the shattered portion of the sky with a neutral expression as the symbol became red and vanished.

A garganta opens twenty feet above the city, and out steps a man standing 5'8 with dirty blonde hair and baby blue eyes. He looked to weigh about two hundred pounds with an average build, he wore a White open jacket with an extended tail that traveled to just above his ankles thats stays opens in the front and a pair of white baggy jean like pants. Looking down at people below him, he scowls and gives a a dis satisfied grunt. He then unfolds his arms from across his chest and uses his his right forefinger to charge a cero. When the ball at the end of his finger gets to the size of a Softball he unleashes his cero into the center of Kakura, making a twenty five diameter crater upon the point of impact. The mans scowl would turn into a smirk as after a few minuets ice would shoot up fifteen feet into the air trapping anybody within fifteen feet of the impact site.

" These insects are no fun im looking for a good challenge" the man would say as two Shigami approached from the South. The male would turn to face the two with an evil smile. As the two shigami approached the surveyed the scene, and then asks the stranger "who are you and why did you do this?" The male would sonido behind the first while drawing his zanpakuto and attempts to stab it thru the males heart. The male would turn counter clockwise but was not fast enough to dodge the attack as it pierced his side, so the blade would pierce thru his left lung. At the Same time the second shigami would attempt to cast Bakudo 4 on the man.

The stranger using the body of the now dead shigami grabs the dead shigami's collar with his right hand and throws him into the way of the incoming Kidou. As the kidou wraps around the boys dead comrade the man sonidos behind the boy aiming a hooked punch at the boys left side, if this connected he would follow up with a right over head hook shot to the temple. The shigami still confused got hit by both shots and traveled to the ground from the sheer force of the blow at an alarming rate. The male would sonido down and kick the shigami in the middle of the back sending him flying away from the danger of impalement below as some of the people below ran in terror. The man would walk simply over to the shigamis name and say "Now you go and tell your superiors that Zander Satoru of the espadas is waiting on a true challenge." Zander would then turn and open a garganta. He would step thru the garganta letting it close behind him while leaving one shigami unconscious and the other dead.

The soft sound of fleeting footsteps could be heard in the distance, a number of voices calling out to one another as a large group of soul reapers gave chase. Led by a single captain, they followed after a man, one who was given a death sentence for his crimes. The harsh breathing of said man could be heard just under the rain, as feet splashed in puddles. Turning a corner, the criminal pressed his back to the wall, trying to blend with the wall as the soul reapers passed. He stood to his full height, an impressive 6'3'', long black hair falling to just under his hips. The moon shone down on him in the small alley, showing pale skin covered by a torn shirt, hanging on his broad shoulders loosely. A pair of black pants hung loosely on his hips, his zanpakuto held on a small chain connecting to a thin belt. Taking a quick moment to catch his breathe, he jumped from the alley onto the top of the building infront of him, keeping to the shadows as best he could. The spike of rieatsu behind him caused his stop, the near silent steps of the captain chilling his blood.
"It took a while to find you, but now that I have, its time for you to face your crimes against the soul society."

He turned to look at the captain, locking gazes with said man. His eyes were blood red, surrounded by an ocean of black as he fought the voice in his head, his hand clutching the zanpakuto at his side.
"I'm sorry, but I can't let you take me in..." Pulling the blade from its sheath, he focused himself, every muscle in his body relaxing as he muttered softly.
"Chisio Tenma..." His blade shimmered a bright red color as the air around them grwew dense with his spiritual pressure. He stared at the other, his voice rough as he clutched the hilt harder.
"I'm sorry. Musei Konton, Chaos of eternity..." The blade grew long, turning a deep crimson, like a river of blood as he dashed towards his old friend. A door opened to the human world, the captain turning from him, the voice soft against the hail like wind.
"Don't say I didn't look out for you..." He fell through the door into the human world, his body growing heavy from exaugstion, the light fading around him. Returning his blade to the sheath, it returning to its sealed state as it slid into the case, he let the pain capture him into a sweet slumber. Falling to the ground, he lay.

It was a cold morning, the sun just high enough in the sky to shine past the scattered gray snow clouds left over from last nights snow fall, which coated the ground in the Seireitei like a blanket of purity. A young woman walks hand in hand with her lover, a dark haired male of 5'11" with a slight tan and smile on his face as he walks with his violet haired beauty. The couple was enjoying a brisk walk through a forest which appeared dead and cold, the trees were without their usual vibrant and green leaves and the plants had all withered away and died. A morbid site to most but Kizomaru saw it for what it really was, a ritual of purification which cleansed the earth of any negativity or evil and gave way to positivity and hope when the snows icy embrace melted away in the spring. This subject had been the conversation of her and Shuuhei as they strolled through the quiet forest, he rather enjoyed the conversation which displayed a side of her he knew she possessed but rarely got to see.

The conversation was short lived though, as the loud roar of a hollow sounded through the air and set the ground a tremor. The two wasted no time, using their shunpo to instantly appear on site of the towering Menos which was the source of the roar the two heard earlier. It appeared to be threatening the life of a small family which had been out in the fields to play with one another in the snow, they were from one of the higher districts of Rukongai as one could tell simply by looking at them. They were wearing old rags and looked as though it'd been awhile since they'd washed, they cowered in fear behind a rock, the parents shielding their only child who was a small boy which appeared to be four or five. The situation got worse, there were hollow approaching them from behind the rock which they were hiding, roaring and freezing the family stiff. Upon seeing what was happening Kizomaru went into a flash back from the day her parents had been killed by hollow, though she shook herself from the horrid memory and sprung into action faster than the quickest lightning strike. Shuuhei had called out to her but had no luck, the girl was focused on preventing another tragedy and he knew right now there was no stopping her.

Kizomaru arrived just in time to block the jaws of one of the hollow from eating the parents, using one of the two standard size wakizashi blades of her zanpakuto, the other was quickly drawn and she slashed down the menace. Shuuhei had come up behind her and told the family to run while he covered them to which they nodded a reply and left to the safety of the forest and the bare branched trees, the two quickly disposed of the hollow then set out to destroy the Menos. It took a dodge of a cero and a combined assault to take the creature down, after the fighting they weren't without their wounds but they were minor due to being caught off guard once or twice. When the coast was clear the family came out of hiding and thanked them before going on their way with a warning to be careful, the two smiled and waved as they watched them all fade off in the distance.

Kizomaru sighed."Well...What a way to spend part of the morning of our day off...Least...They got away safe." She stated, wearing a soft smile on her face as she replayed what happened to her. She always carried a sense of guilt about the death of her parents, blaming herself for not being able to save them. In this moment though, it felt like she had been freed by the act of saving someone in a similar situation.

Shuuhei took a hold of the girl in his arms and kissed the top of her head lightly."Yes, you did a good job but next time please don't just run into danger." He told her, not liking how reckless she was though he understood her actions. He chuckled lightly to keep a light mood about them."Come on,let's go get healed up." He told her, she nodded in reply and the two left the forest to Squad Fours barracks in each others arms.

Approved. And if there is no captain of the squad, you can go ahead and be the lieutenant.

Ah, alright...Though the spot I wanna have is squad 2 lieutenant.

I am Trying out for an Espada Position. Any Position you think I am qualified for will do. I am not nit-picky. Also I put an OOC Fraccion in this roleplay sample. I don't know if that is okay or not. If it isn't I can always fix it. I also mentioned Aizen in here because I also don't know who the Leader of the Arrancars is.



The day was as dull as ever as fog layed upon the surface of the earths crust. Snow fell from the sky in clumps of grey spasms resembling ash, as even the blue honey of the ocean wasn't even blue anymore...it wasn't blue at all. The day was inconcievable; The day was relentless; The day was grotesque. Allister stood on top of a building that towered over Karakura Town. His eyes set the town in total dispair as nothing or no one could be seen. Everything was in such disarray that it would obscure ones vision leaving them in a pool of eternal blindness. "Since when does Karakura, look so mishapen, so undoubtebly dead?" He asked himself as he flicked his right ankle, flash stepping to the ground floor int he midst of all the grey. The snow continued to fall. Each flake had its own worries about what might happen to it if it hit the ground. "Is this what mortals have to deal with now?" He looked around, seeing if even the slightest person was there. He looked and looked. The beast was hungry. "The people of Karakura always have the sweetest souls...nothing bitter nor sour lay upon my tongue," He would say right before he'd grasp the egg from the chicken, or in this case the spirit from the body.
"Reminiscing now are we?" A voice emitted from the grey.
"What is it that you want, Kikimaru?" It was clear that Allister had already known the voice coming from the fog.
"As a fraccion I must always follow my Espada, is that not true sire?" Kikimaru walked closer as he was now clearer than he was before. He wore the traditional white uniform most arrancars/hollows are found with. However, his was more customized. The top portion was more like a vest the was open revealing his pale white skin to the world as he wore baggy white trousers that came down to barely past the cap of his knee. His bone fragment was a band wrapped around his eyes and a large dorsil fin shaped bone on the top of his head.
"I told you to leave me be while I was out," Allister, it was hard to tell if he was annoyed or not caring for anything.
"I know what you told me sir, but Aizen has requested a meeting for all of the Espada," Kikimaru bowed when he finally was able to clearly see Allister.
"A meeting?"
"Yes. He said it was of the upmost importance that all Espada come accounted for," Kikimaru looked up at Allister.
"Alright then," At that very moment a person stepped out of there house into the grey atmosphere. Allister looked over to him and took his egg. The man fell to the ground and Allister had the faintest smile on his face. "Like I said before, 'The people of Karakura always have the sweetest souls...nothing bitter nor sour lay upon my tongue.'"

Opening his eyes for the first time in hours, a fair skinned man sat up and looked around. He was in a dreary setting. Grey clouds dotted the sky and dying grasses littered the area surrounding him. "What.... Happened?" he muttered quietly as he turned to lifted himself from the ground using his hands. When he was finally standing he dusted his hands and pants off and looked around. he finally noticed something. "This area is surrounded in... fog?" Unable to see far he gripped the hilt of his Zanpakuto.

"Who are you? How do you know my name? Show yourself!" Fade turned every direction attempting to pinpoint the source of the voice. A mad cackle shook his nerves.

"Aww... You don't remember me? I'm the man that was in your home, November 20, 2009." Fade froze and drew his Zanpakuto.

"Mattaku yurushimasen!" The basic looking katana soon took a completely new shape. I hilt became longer and thinner and the blade curved into a crescent.

"Ooohh. Did I hit a nerve in Fadey Wadey?" the man teased as he revealed himself. He was a short man who had no hair and small beady blue eyes. His evil grin disgusted Fade.

"I'll kill you!" he shouted. He flash stepped towards the man, not thinking. "You die here!" Fade raised Kage above his head and brought it down in front of the man causing the ground under to shake violently. The man fell to his knees.

"Under normal circumstances, no. But you... I'll make an exception." Fade raised Kage above his head and brought it down, swiftly decapititating the man. "That's for Hana."
