Kalanu Dalaney's Living Quarters

Large room shrouded in darkness with the only means of light is the small round hole upwards on the wall, the walls are a stony white that matches the floors, due to the darkness the walls dont appear white, but a jet black. on the floor is a skin rug of a what feels to be a bear and to the wall a cage sitting upona carved standing wood rob. inside the cage is a small raven. to the middle of the room is a skeleton chair with skeletal wings spreading out from both sides.

A garganta no larger than a normal door opened up in the room and out of ot stepped Kali. His steps were paced to keep by Lanu's side, not sure on just how weakened his brother was from the battle they had been in back in the world of the living. The fiight at taken its own toll on himself and just the act of turning his body to the side slightly to offer a helping hand to Lanu put stress on the gash across his side and he was greeted with a fresh wave of pain and the warm feeling of blood leaking along his coat and flesh. That didn't stop him from assisting his sipling, taking some of his weight as he wrapped an arm across him to help him to his chair. Even if it was undeeded help Kali didn't care. He felt no need to make his sibling push himself and father than he had to.

"Well...we certainly weren't kept bored were we?" he asked lightly as he sat Lanu down, letting out a deep, somewhat shaky breath as he leaned forward, aggitating the slice slightly to the side of his spine. It took some effort to push pass the pain that seared as he straightened up once again. "You're alright?" He wasn't one to overly show emotion but he couldn't help the worry in his voice. He and Lanu had always been together as siblings and just the idea of losing that other part of him shook him to the bone. He looked down at his brother, a frown clear on his face though he tried to look composed which didn't work as well as he had hoped. So instead he looked elsewhere, the birdcage catching his eye. The raven inside had been making a scene since their arrival, likely either spooked or craving needed attention. Kali couldn't quite bring himself to care though, having something else to worry about other than the black bird and its wellbeing.

Feeling his mind begin to haze, the espada took a seat on the arm of Lanu's bone-like chair, trying to keep his back stiff and unbent. He leaned back slightly, his head now resting against one of the wings of the chair and he let his eyes fall closed though he was far from rest. He didn't bother to fix the hair that flowed freely over his face, much too drained to even have the thought of moving black strands.

he didn't accept his brother's help, he knew the attack and pain his brother was in did not want to add onto it, the blood coating most of his eyes he feels the crusted blood blat his hair down to his forhead and some of his eyes. While sitting he rose his hands he would feel the wound and its opening. taking in his brother's question he nods looking to him. "I'm fine. The question at hand is ourself..you seem badly injured." he watched he brother closely before coming to rise from his bone made seat to only gesture him to sit, walking to the bird cage he would give the bird the little bird seed stick that seems to be its food, turning back to look to Kali to only examine his wounds. "I'll bring bandages brother, you really need it."

Kali opened his eyes, turning his head to look at Lanu as he nodded. "I'll be fine. Its nothing that won't heal up" he might have said those words but he didn't deny the seat offered to him and he didn't speak against the plan of getting bandages. He sunk down into the bone structure of the chair, his head falling back to rest upon the back of the chair. His eyes darted to the side where he eyed his stained clothes, frowning when he saw how ruined they were, more upset that the feathers were now wasted in the impure garment. Shaking his head in disappointment he looked back to Lanu, nodding again. "Yes perhaps I do"

He no longer wanted to use the energy it took to keep his eyes open, letting them fall shut and giving him some form of rest though he remained on a constant alert. He slouched back some, ignoring how it irritatedly made both side of the torn flesh of his back rub together. He knew that it would heal just fine so he didn't linger on it. Afterall he was more comfortable now with his back not so stiff which only made it ache. In the back of his mind he vaguely wondered if his clothing was leaving any red marks on the bone white chair, mentally making a note to check that later and possibly form an apology based on what he found. If it had been anyone else he would hhave even considered the word sorry, another way in how he seemed to connect with nearly no others of there kind.

Lanu would go towards the bird cage once again to take grasp of the bandages that he kept in his room, oddly they werent need until know, walking to his brother he would kneel infront him the blood now stained his forehead down to his chin in the right side oh his face. "show me your wounds.." he wasn't concerned on anything else but attending to the well being of his sibling as he started the roll of the bandage he would wait for him to reveal his wounds.

while waiting he would rise once again and walk over to where the exit of his barrack was to only peak out the door, he didnt find any arrancar left inside the building. "hmm..still in the world of the living i see." holding the bandages he would turn back around to narrow his eyes at his sibling to see any other wounds on his being besides the gash that seems to show regardless.

Kali eyes the blood on his brother's face, reaching out to try and wipe some of the dried liquid away to reveal the flesh underneath. He didn't stay at it long, hearing what Lanu asked of his and brought his hands to the buttons of his jacket, figuring it had to come of too reveal the long slice along his back as well as the gash at his side. Once he had it undone he removed it slowly, making small hissing noises as dried blond stuck to it and pulled at his skin. After a minute or so he managed to get the garment of, tossing it to the floor for now to pick it up later and dispose of it. His blood covered upper body was reveal now and looking down he realized just how much blood he had lost. Regeneration was likely the only reason he was still able to walk.

"No one else is here?" he questioned, almost surprised by the fact but as he thought on it he shrugged his shoulders just slightly, holding back to wince it cause in his back. "I guess thats why all those shinigami showed up. Though I guess it was only a matter of time before they sent somebody to us anyway" Kali forced himself to sit up, knowing it would make it easier for him to get bandaged up that way. "Its a shame we couldn't enjoy it longer though, don't you think?" His silver, glowing eyes looked through his long, loosely hanging black hair to his sibling's narrowed eyes.

"How are your wounds?" he pointed to his own forehead to point out exactly what wound he meant. He wondered just how bad it was, knowing it didn't take a large wound to bleed from that area and form where he sat now it was hard to judge through Lanu's hair and the red that had crusted on his face. "You should wash up some and take a look at it. Or let someone else"

"i dont believe so, seems there might be others outside of Hueco Mundo." he saw The wounds on his brother's being before grabbing the bandages he grabbed the clean part of his shirt and ripped it off to form a cloth, with the now made cloth in his hand he starts to wipe away at the dried blood on his body. hearing his brother's words towards his well being he shook his head peering through the stands of hair that seem to stick together through the crusted blood. "i'll tend to his later, first lets get you cleaned up."

Lanu looked up towards his brother, his jet black irises catch his kali's silver ones peering into his. after cleaning the wounds he would take the bandage and begin on the bigger wounds. Lanu would then start to go around Kali's body with the bandage slowly tightening the band as he goes. "it might hurt for awhile.."

"I wonder how long they'll be staying gone...It will be quiet around here..." he wasn't really speaking directly to his sibling, more or less thinking out loud. Before he knew it the fabric torn from Lanu's shirt was wiping away the bloody mess that had coated his skin and he didn't have time to hold back the soft gasp of discomfort as it drew near to tender, raw, torn flesh. He let out a small shaky breath to try and let himself relax once again which was quite successful as he remained silent as the blood was cleaned away.

He smiled and shook his head at the answer he recieved afte rpointed out his siblings own wounds, expecting him to respong with as much. "Never taking care of yourself" he said lightly, giving a softened gaze to Lanu. He leaned forward slightly more so his elbows could rest on his knees. His head slumped down, his long hair falling over his shoulders to nearly reach his knees as well. "A little bit of pain isn't going to hurt now" he pointed out, caring less about what hurt the bandages might have brought.

Again he kept his breathing even to keep any signs of that hurt held back other than the slight twitch of his hands which he hoped went unnoticed. He watched his brother's hands as they wrapped the bandages around his torso, surprised they didn't instantly turn crimson, instead keeping their white color decently though the were a bit tainted, signalling that his wounds were starting to close up as the blood clotted across his skin.

coming to finish the wrapping of his brother's bandages he tighten it slightly more then before reassuring it would hold more, using his nails he would snip the bandages from the main source and fold it to the sticky like end to keep it banded. Lanu then chucked the bloody clothe to the floor to soon pick it up when it becomes of more importance.

Lanu then sat back on the floor with his right knee up and his left to the side and on the floor, rising his right hand he reached to run his hands through his hair where the wound was, the wound felt like a simi gash, not making it know he would feel a slight sting of the wound. he then removed his hand to look at his fingers most the blood was dry some still held a liquid texture.

Stopping in front of the door that held the two weakened reiatsu behind it. Removing his left hand from his pocket he would raise it to the door an knock softly upon it but loud enough for them to hear his knock. After he had knocked he would lower his hand an place it back in his pocket. "Sorry for bothering you two but I may have something here that can help heal your wounds a lot faster then what they are now." He would say in a calm voice. His right hand would leave his pocket as it rised an pushed back the small framed glasses so that they were not sliding off anymore.

When he heard the small sound of the tearing off bandages, Kali lifted his head up. Looking to the side slightly he noticed that Lanu had finished and he let himself sit back again, not even realising how he slumoed lazily into the chair. He lifted a hand to brush away the hair that covered his face now and for once they obidiently stayed hanging out of the way, flowing over his shoulders. His eyes were half-lidded and just the look on his face told of his tiredness bu the pushed that aside, still unable to help his concern for the state his sibling was in.

"Will you take care of yourself now?" He lifted he head for just a moment, watching Lanu feel along the wound. He eyed his hand once it moved away, noting that some of that blood wasn't dark enough to be fully crusted and old. "Does it still hurt?" he questioned, letting his head fall back again with a deep breath. His eyes closed fully and dark lashes blended into the black streak that ran down from his eyes all the way down his cheeks much like his eyes had overflowed with oil.

"Sorry for stealing your seat" his spoke quietly with an apologetic smile. Even if Lanu was the one that offered the seat to himm he still felt a bit bad for taking it so casually. It wasn't as it he was the only one injured here. "You really need more furniture" the espada lectured in a light, almost teasing tone. He wasn't one to talk and he knew, having only his extravagent chair in his own quaters.

The knock on the door grabbed all of his attention as soon as the sound entered the room. 'Maybe not so quiet...' He thought to himself. He didn't lift his head nor did he open his eyes even though he listened to what the man on the other side of the door stated. It wasn't his place to let some one in so he kept his silence even though with a higher rank he could overspeak Lanu as he wished to, though he never would. At least never before and not now.

"you may enter!" he said in a shout enough for the one behind to hear, standing to his feet he would walk towards where he sat the bandages down to only start wrapping the bandage around his head, though he did it poorly he wasnt quite concerned of his well being. Lanu could now only see out of his left eye seeing the fact he covered his right so that it gave the bandage something to work with.

After putting the bandage on it becomes slightly stained with blood, after he would step towards his bed to only take a seat with a slight chuckle of his brother's words before nodding. "i guess your right brother, in time ill do so." thinking he remembered that he ignored the question of pain asked from his brother, he didnt answer as the pain was an come and go feeling and didnt need to worry much of it.

Hearing the words that came from one of his fellow comrads he would reach out an open the door stepping in. His perfectly stainless white espada jacket would be seen first followed by his short spikey brown hair an small frammed glasses that laid in fron of his violet eyes. Looking at the two he would slide his hand back into his pocket as he continued into the room. "Well it looks as if you two have gotten your selfs badly hurt. Im taken it that both of you ran into a powerful being in the human world?" He would state softly as he smiled softly at the both of them. Kenshin was the type to not fear anyone an be extremly nice an kind to fellow comrads. "Do you wish for your pain to end quickly so that as soon as yor regain your full power that both of you can return to the battlefield?" As he spoke he would pull his right hand from his pocket having to small tubes filled with green liqued between his fingers. He would then lightly throw one to both of them.

Kali didn't speak up about the lack of answer to one of his questions. If Lanu wasn't concerned about it that didn't mean much though. For now he'd put it aside, likely not even bring it up again for some time. Not too mention he heard the opening of the door and speaking infront of others except his brother was not an activity he took much part in, keeping quiet anytime he could unless some form off speach was practically forced out of him.

He lifted his head and opened his eyes just a crack, glancing over the espada standing before them. His face had become blank, his lips a stright line and glistening eyes void of any emotion. Kali offered just a small nod to the lower's first question concerning they're fight in the world of the living. Afterwards his head fell back again, turned slightly so he could rest his cheek on the back of the chair. Kali didn't much care right then if he didn't appear overwhelmingly more powerful than the others in the room. His eyes stayed peering though his hair that had, as usual taken it place in his face, directly at Kenshin, more closely eying the tubes that were presented to them. With out much trouble he caught it as one was tossed to him despite the current condition he was in.

He stared at the green liquid inside, not showing any sign that he'd accept or deny it. Instead he sat up some, looking over to Lanu. Deep within his gaze was some uncertainty about the liquid, especially since neither of them knew what it was. The effect sounded pleasing but the last thing he wanted was to take on the role of a lab rat for some creation the arrancar had cooked up. His fingers ran over the glass of the tube as he thought, waiting to see if they'd be given some further explaination of just what in the hell they were holding.

catching the vile as he threw it he eyed the green liquid before looking to his brother, the look in his eyes void of emotions but he was sure they held the same idea of what this might be. Lanu took in the words of the espada before shaking his head and speaking in a tone slightly to a whisper. "..i have no wish to return to fight..that is not why we went to the world of the living in the first place.." adverting his eyes to the espada he tosses the vile back lightly. "thank you but no thank you.."

Lanu felt he would heal eventually why not hold out til then, lanu looked to kali figuring he should probably use it to heal his wounds considering theyre worst then his, after speaking he kept silent peering at the espada through the raven black stands that fell over his left eye.

Catching the vile that was tossed back at him between his fingers with ease he would then begin twirling it around inbetween each finger. "I see.. If your worried about some type of side effect dont be. I have tested it over an over again on different hollows all with the same result." He said softly as he would then toss it back to him as he turned an begin to walk out of the room stopping at the entrance an shifting his head to look over his shoulder. "Keep the vile incase you ever need to use it. A single drop well heal each wound upon your body. An if you ever find your self losing a arm or maybe even a leg then come by my Lab i can fix that as well." As the words left his mouth he would face forward once more an walk out of the room shutting the door behind him. Turning to his right he would walk down the hallway vanishing within the darkness of it.

Still not saying anything, Kali raised his eyes from the green liquid to the now leaving man. He gave a nod with the further explaination. Now he wondered if it could really hurt to use. Once the other espada was gone, kali opened the vial, swishing its contents around as he watched it spin around within its holder. He stopped a moment later, sitting up so he could look over to Lanu.

"What do you think?" he questioned, letting his hand with the tube fall down slightly though he still kept it upright as to not let any of the green substance spill. "It doesn't sound all that bad" he murmured, sitting back again. "Not bad at all really." He eyed the bandages wrapped around his siblings head and covering one of the deep black eyes. "You should think about using it too. Even if it doesn't seem like a serious wound. Its just one drop afterall" His way of stating 'I don't enjoy seeing you hurt and the faster those go away the better'. Though he couldn't just come out and say that plainly.

Not waiting or thinking on it any longer, Kali lifted the vial up again, turning it to the side just slightly though not enough for any to drip out. It wasn't so much he was in a hurry to get back into battle, he just didn't want to give of the feel of a near useless wounded puppy. He didn't usually care what others had thought of him, obvious by the fact he spoke to near no one and acted in a different way than most, but still being seen for the rank he was was on some level of importance when it came to others except his sibling. Gently yet irritationgly with his free hand he oved some of the bandaging at his side though with some work it could be moved back into place to not completely waste what Lanu had done. He leaned over slightly, letting a drop of the green liquid fall to the now exposed wound. It sizzled for a second but Kali didn't pay it anymore mind, fixing the bandaging as best he could before turning his attention to the banages over his back. Agains he moved the bandage, having to do less this time, and a bit more carefully since it was behind his head, he let another drop fall. He turned the vial back up once he felt one hit the split skin and returned the bandages to their place.

Kali brought the tube back down, closing it once again and setting it aside. He could feel it taking effect as the torn muscles and skin reacted to the healing liquid. Regeneration was something great but this liquid put it to shame. He could feel the muscles repairing already and skin cells starting to grow to reattach. It was speedy healing and he figured it would still take some time though it likely cut his healing time in half at least.

Lanu would catch the vile once more when the male tossed it towards him once more, while watching the green liquid move frantically within the vile he took in the words of his brother to return with a slight nod. "i suppose its not.." he didnt relish the thought of being helped by someone he didnt know nor liked the idea that he had to be helped out. No espada knew of him and his brother's presence until this single one.

Lanu then adverted his one eyed gaze to his brother watching him pour the liquid onto his wounds before thinking once again he popped the gourd like top off and slowly began to remove the bandages from his head, the feeling of the scab being pulled off and the warm liquid of his blood begin to run down he ignored the sudden sting that rushed to the wound, raising the vile he tilted the vile causing the liquid to fall and run down his strands of raven black hair until it reached his wound. the sizzling feeling of the wound being treated felt quite better now. Lanu left the bandage off feeling his wound start to become but a memory with no evidence to show.

Now leaning forward in the cahir, Kali let his eyes trail to his sibling, glad to see that Lanu was using the unknown substance they had been given. Emotion had returned to his face ever since the other espada left though it was as slight as ever, nothing more than the small upturn of his lips and the barely noticable hint of feeling in diamond-like eyes. "It works well doesn't it?" he didn't expect much of an answer, more or less trying to keep silence from the room though it was something he usually preferred. "I guess we'll just have to wait and see if it has any bad efftect though" Kenshin had said he tested it but Kali was the last to immediately trsut someone, even if they were on the same side in a sense.

"I suppose we'll have to find something entertaining for you here in Las Noches. I have a feeling now isn't a good time to be leaving" He stated, figuring the battless were still heavy in the world of the living and i time other Espada would return and he espected some sort of meeting then. He was more than content with locking himself in his own quarters and sitting there lost in the thoughts of his own world, basically nonexistant to all others in Hueco Mundo. However, like so many other things, he was different from Lanu.

"Though maybe since you're healed up you could go watch the hollows in the desert kill eachother" he offered as an idea, sitting back again. "I'd join you but thats still a bit of a problem" he could still feel his wounds repairing themselves at a quickened pace but no where near quick enough to travel for now. It didn't occur to him how he had been able to move through the garganta or how he'd kept up the fight as long as it lasted, blaming distructive determination.

Lanu shook his head to his brother's idea before sitting against the wall on hi bed keeping his jet black irises on his brother's before speaking he gave a soft exhale. "no its fine..i dont quite feel in the mood..if another meeting comes up do you think its best we join as observations..i dont think it would be wise of us to miss another one." he hated to admit it even though he didnt quite like the other espada for their act of arrogance towards one another or towards the ranks each held.

Lanu then pondered on the idea he hada feeling him being rank 6 would result in him possibly being looked down upon, only one way to find out yet he didnt care much for the others opinions of his rank, he found a majority of the espada to be an abomination to most things that held beauty. Adverting his head up he watches the moon of Hueco Mundo shine through the little circular window.

Kali nodded in agreement, turning his head to look to Lanu. "Missing a meeting would not be a good choice. It would surely turn out on the bad side if we were to be uninformed of something important Don't you agree? Even if the meetings aren't your favorite part of this rank" He understood how Lanu didn't quite find the other espada to be enjoyable company, in truth liking how he kept his own distance from all of them. His reason was the mere elements of his personality though. It wasn't that he trully disliked anyhting about any of them in particular. They just existed apat from him and nothing more. They had no connections other than a somewhat common goal, if it could even be called that. Rank wasn't something he paid close mind to except when it came to those above him. Only then did he make rules of how he should act, keeping in mind that though there were few in number, there were those that could end him.

The arrancar stood, finding he needed to move his legs some. He was still surprised by the ease of which he could move now, figuring he'd only need a day or so to become fully functional again. Putting that pleasing fact aside, Kali walked around the chair he had previously taken, having no real destination. His head tilted back and his eyes looked to the window where he could see the nighttime sky that plagued Hueco Mundo eternally except for their small corner being Las Noches. The stars and moon reflected in his eyes that appeared as a glowing sky themselves now. "I really hate night" he lightly mused with a bitter smile. shaking his head he looked back to the floor under his feet. Once night was all he saw for years lost in number it was something he had grown tired of, even if it was a lovely color.

"why so?" he loved both night and day it was like light and dark, good and evil. the fact light and dark are opposite they both held beauty that brought Lanu peace, while looking to his brother his gaze followed his every movement until he stopped , his gaze then comes to settle on the window above. Lanu didnt see outside the window only the light that seemed to gleam through leaving a circular glow on the wall opposite to it.

Lanu scooted himself off the bed to come to a stand followed by a few stretches, lanu then felt the sooth pop of his bones. "brother, considering there are a few espada that would put one down by their rank..i figure i should go prepared. I find it a bit odd that it happens when rank isnt much of a problem more on how you use such a power..correct.

A simple knock comes to from the other side of the doorway as Dravius waits to see if the Sexta Espada was in his living quarters, his arms folded behind his his back making the scar on his chest become more revealed. His green eyes would scan the hallway as he leaned against the door frame, his brown hair slicked back as he slid his left hand thru his hair

"You ask why? Have you not grown tired of seeing nighttime already?" He sounded just a bit surprised though not to much so, accepting it as just some difference. "I suppose after some time I just didn't want to see the same night sky anymore. Its almost annoying, never changing out there in the deserts." he shrugged which caused loosened bandages to shift from their place, slightly showing the pale skin beneath them as well as fast healing wounds that were no longer unsightly to look at or even think about. He lifted his head to look over to his brother once he had given his reason for disliking the night, his eyes almost questioning of why Lanu liked it at all. He heard the knock on the door and instantly looked that way instead, his silent question forgotten.

"Seems theres another visitor. You're quite popular" Kali stated with fine sarcasm, glancing to Lanu briefly. He frowned deeply for a moment before his face took on the blank look it did when in the company of those many he felt no relation to. Behind his eyes he glared daggers at the door, silently cursing another interuption but he pushed it aside. It wasn't as if those who came had bad intentions afterall. they just happened to come at a bad tim, or just plainly one of those times he felt the less people the better and just 2 was the limit of acceptable. But he couldn't force himself to stay angered secretly, reasoning as he always did. "Are you going to get the door?" he asked, walking over to the pile of bandages Lanu had used as well as his dirtied clothes, finding they made the room look quite messy just tossed wherever.

Lanu would nod to his brother before speaking in a tone more audible to the one behind the door. "come in.." he then looked to kali giving a light shrug, he didnt know who it would be and how they would know he even stayed within this certain room. Lanu then stood to his feet before walking to the bird cage bringing his back against the wall and his hands deep within his pockets.

responding to his brother's words now he would take in his words before nudging his head to the right he sways the strands of raven black hair from his view. To lanu's avail the strands fall back to his view no having his jet black irises hidden. "i guess your right brother..i enjoy night..but its Hueco Mundo..the endless desert...so depressing to think of it."
