Onose River

Located just outside the Minamikawase district, the Onose River travels along the western edge of Karakura town and goes through Naruki-shi. Karasu River connects to the Onose River. Fireworks display is held here every summer.

Appearing in a quickened run Lanu appears in the sky above, his feet came to a hateful stop before looking around the area. the crystal clear waters below him. "i wonder when brother will catch up." his words flowed from his lips like the water that flows in the river. Lanu would then start to descend down towards the waters of the Onose River, before going any farther he stops just inches from the water almost touching.

"even water can reflect beauty..pity Las Noches isnt anything like this..humans dont deserve a beautiful place such as this..so much wasted on their pee sized brains." Lanu gave off a sigh of disappointment before plunging his index finger of his right hand into the water before creating ripples in the water out of boredom [brother is certainly taking his sweet time..was always the slowest out of us both] he thought to himself before scooping up water into his palm, he would watch the crystal clear waters fall from his fingers like a fine silk.

A cloud of light brown dust raised up from the ground as Kali finally reached his brother's side, stopping at an instance right at the edge of the water. Long black hair gently floated down, slightly messy from the wind that swept through as he had propelled himself after Lanu. Not bothering to sweep away the strands that had fallen into his sight, he raked his long, slender fingers through the ebony feathers that made up the colar of his coat before patting away any of the dusting dirt from his white clothes.

"Beautiful. Almost makes you envious" He had caught some of Lanu's last statement of how this beauty was wasted. "But I guess we wouldn't really envy those 'pea-brained humans'" his normally dull tone was a bit lighter and the corners of his lips were slightly turned up as he looked through the corners of his eyes to his sibling, silver irises almost glowing under the light of the shining sun above them.

Looking back to the shimmering, running water, Kali took in a deep breath of the fresh air that was surprisingly much more pleasant than he remembered. He let it out slowly, letting his head fall forward slightly as he closed his eyes. Without much warning, he began to fall back, catching himself just before he hit the ground and propping himself up on his elbows in a half sitting half laying position. His eyes wandered the sky and the buildings as his hand dug into the crispy grass that was more than likely just freshly mowed down.

"I sense the same disturbance in the streets still happening" his eyes flowed to look to his sibling the raven black strands flowing over his eyes, he dared not move them knowing the same strands would fall back where they once took place. rising from the crouched form he then turns and walks over to where his brother was. "envy of the land they hold..but not of them.."

his right hand would reach and fondle the small silver cross on his zanpakuto hilt, while air born he leans forward over his sibling to stare down out him. the expression on lanu's face revealed a hidden smile under the rough exterior he calls a emotionless gleam. He then looks to his sibling's zanpakuto and trailed up to see the black feathers.

Lanu reached out with his index middle and thumb finger to grip a feather and in one swift motion he removes a feather, with his swift motion the feather appeared as if it never was pulled nor did his sibling's clothing appear messed up. "a raven and a crows feather..both alike yet different in every way..how contradicting don't you think?"

Kali looked over his shoulder, sensing the same thing as his brother. "Its nothing to even worry about" he muttered with a small shrug that ruffled the feathers, their tips ghosting over his throat and almost causing a chill to shake him. "Might be interesting to go se ebut only for a short time" Long hair fell back over his shoulders as he turned his head back, eyes now falling upon Lanu who was hovering above him now.

"If you're envious of something theres nothing stopping you from taking it. After a while that is. Now is likely not the best of times" He caught the smile that few if any other than him would ever get to see on their luckiest days. The silver orbs of his eyes followed Lanu's as they looked over him, eying the feathers as his sibling took one between his fingers. He watched the light cause a shine to reflect off of the soft feather as it was plucked from his coat that keot the untouched look.

"As contradicting as it may be its true. Not just for the feathers either" Just as crows and ravens were different so were the two of them. Despite the differences they were very much the same in some aspects and no matter what Kali never questioned it, just accepting it as fact. "*Its a rather curious truth though isn't it"

Lanu lifted himself back up from hovering over his sibling to now standing on the grass his eyes gazed left and right at the beauty of the land as the moon came to rise, he heard the words of his sibling but he didnt give a second thought. "well claiming something without a fight rules out the fun in it, does it not brother." his gaze adverted back to his sibling, the moon gleam reflecting of his black irises.


Lanu felt the breeze of the night creep up against his body, the cool breeze sent a subtle chill up his spine, lanu then reached to brush the raven black locks from his gaze to have them within seconds return in place, turing on his heels he begins to start walking south of the river his hands reach behind his back to grasp one another giving real thought to what his brother spoke.


"shall we head to where the spiritual pressure is or should we stay here" lanu hated being bored but nothing was set to end such a problem of his, he thought of sparring his sibling, but at the same time he found that would run boring as well. while walking Lanu reaches to grip the little choker around his neck and begins to fondle the choker boringly before stopping to gaze to the multi stars that coated the night sky like specles on a black sheet.

Pushing up with his arms, Kali sat up, resting his embows on bent knees. "I suppose you're right. And surely you must stay entertained" His eyes shot to quickly look to his sibling for a split second, the the light from the sky leaving a flash in them. He caught a glimpse of black eyes before looking back to the water, his head tipped forward slightly, enough that his hair left a wall covering his entire face, something that didn't seem to bother Kali in the slightest.

Without being able to see through thick, black hair, Kali could sense his brother's distancing steps, listening to the crunch of the grass beneathe them. "You're thinking too hard" he noted aloud, able to tell Lanu was giving thought to something also not even needing to look. He finally lifted his head, turning it with a small crookof his neck. His face was still hidden except for a thin place where his hair parted. Behind the shadows his eyes could be seen, still holding the glowing effect it never seemed to be without.

"We're certainly not going to keep you entertained here are we?" with the smallest, yet graceful movement, Kali was on his feet. his hair floated up as he so quickly shot to a standing postion and now it fluttered back down over his shoulders, leaving his face in sight once again. He shook his head slightly before follow the same path as Lanu, walking along with th eflowing water, arms hanging loose at his sides though hidden in the oversized sleeves.

"We're going to have to let you spill some blood for that aren't we. Thats what you find most beautiful isn't it?" Kali asked in his usually quiet, smooth voice. He glanced to his brother as he stepped past him, giving a barely noticable smirk that faded in an instant back to the thin line his lips usually took on. He looked back ahead, awaiting the moment Lanu would shoot off ahead of him much like he always did.

Way up in the sky above the river there appeared traditional styled japanese sliding doors, burgundy wood frames and clear white glass windows were the appearance. The rectangular doors slid open to reveal doors with a more rounded top of the same design as the first set, those then slid open to let a bright white light escape through. It was then that three figures could be seen silhouetted in the door way, Shuuhei, Kizomaru and Mizuko stepped through the doors before they vanished. Their hell butterflies vanishing as well, the Shinigami trio stood on the reishi in the air and looked down at the two men below.

Shuuhei turned to Mizuko who was awaiting orders, they all felt large amounts of reiatsu not just from the men below but all around them. He spoke in a firm and commanding voice, one that was expected of a man in his position."Mizuko, Kizo and I can handle these two. Go find anyone who may need help and assist them immediately." He ordered, the sapphire haired woman nodded and bowed slightly.

"Yes Sir." Mizuko replied, her voice obedient and strong at the same time. Promptly leaving their area after she'd finished speaking, shunpoing away and looking for anyone who might need help in whatever battles she would come across first. She had a slight doubt in the back of her mind in her ability to defeat an opponent as strong as an Espada but she quickly shrugged it off, knowing she couldn't keep her doubt for it would be the end of her in a battle.

Shuuhei turned to Kizomaru next, his arms crossed and his voice remaining commanding when he spoke."We will attempt a sneak attack, they don't know we're here yet so let us use that to our advantage." He told her, turning back to the men below and taking a hand to the hilt of his zanpakuto. Waiting for just the right moment before he would strike, watching them like a wolf stalking its prey.

Kizomaru's hands went to the hilts of her wakizashi blades which sat one on each hip, gripping them in anticipation. Watching the two men closely and waiting for the right moment to make her move, drawing her blades ever so slightly so that she could be ready to either attack or defend on something of a moments notice should she have to.

Lanu looked to his sibling before walking to meet the left side of him shoulder to shoulder he would look to his brother giving a light grin before crossing his arms over his chest and giving a light nod. "true brother it does bring beauty to my soul, but lets not go on with that. what is to be known is what is it that will bring beauty to yours."

Lanu sensed another's presence but simply pushed it off as something of a gnat and not important at this moment, having his raven black locks fall over his irises he made no attempt to move them he simply stared out the little openings between the strands, lanu then reached to take hold of his choker and stuck his tongue out. "brother dont you think this choker is a good look on me" he snickers sarcastically before slightly tugging on it.

the two walking began to match on another as he walked along side his sibling. he still held the feather within his grasp noticing the fall of the sun has already came and the moon graced the skies with its presence, letting his grip on the feather go he watches as it falls lifeless to the surface of the water creating small ripples in its place.

Kali slowed his steps for just a moment, noticing a substantial growth in spiritual pressure. He could tell it wasn't from the fighting both he and Lanu had decided to check out. Instead of taking the time to look around though, he reacted much like Lanu did, letting the fact nearly slip completely from his thoughts. A part of him kept his guard up and without fully noticing it himself, his hand moved closer to the black sheath of his blade that could be drawn in an instant.

Hearing Lanu's voice was what brought him back to the reality around him and out of thoughts focused towards the new presence. He turned his head, met with a face covered by black hair though he could still clearly make out the pink of a tongue. His own face showed a hint of distaste in the smallest of scowls before he rolled his eyes at the look Lanu wore. "Don't make such a face" he mummbled with a shake of his head that cause black locks to sway across the his feathered colar causing a soft rustling sound.

"Its dashing" he responded before even looking at the choker that was the object of his sibling's sarcasm. "You sure it doesn't need to be tightened some?" his own voice held subtle sarcasm but what gave away his lack of seriousness was the miniscule smile that almost made him seem approachable unlike his usual manner with others.

"You know wet feathers are nearly useless..." Kali stated as he watched the crow feather flutter into the river, being pulled along with the current of the water. As he looked closer he noticed a reflect in its surface of something blocking out the moon and he narrowed his eyes. The object was unmoving from its place and he had a clue of what it might have been, again paying mind to the spiritual pressure that had emerged.

"Do you notice it?" he asked in a hushed voice. Kali might have been just being paranoid but that was rare and he doubted it. He looked straight ahead, his expression becoming serious. Silver irises glanced over to Lanu through his long dark lashes that faded into the black marks of his cheeks.

Lanu eyes would narrow not facing the water but looking to the ground letting his hand trail to the hilt of his zanpakuto. Lanu didn't move one inch after that, the gently breeze brushing through his hair causing his bangs to fall over his face making his facial expression nearly hard to see. he would then speak to his brother in a voice only he would hear.
"yes..the spiritual energy that just entered the area.."

after speaking he would raising his head eye level before speaking once again he turned to look to his brother. "what do you suggest, fight or ignore the reaper." he speaks walking to the other side of him, his grip on his zanpakuto remained in place the little piece of mask that took up his face was caressed on the curves with his free hand with a slight grin on his mouth. "with that the crow and raven take notice..turning the hunter into the hunted."

The shinigami stood on the reishi in the air, should anyone who had no knowledge of what they were walk past surely they would think themselves hallucinating when they viewed two people seemingly hovering in the air. Fortunately no one was out that could see them except the two Arrancar below, both Shuuhei and Kizomaru were watching the two like hawks for any movements they could see from their height. The two looked at each other, they're eyes conveying a silent conversation about what they would do now. They could understand one another almost perfectly and when she got the message she nodded, the two then looked back out at the men before them and seemed to vanish in a burst of speed by using shunpo. Figuring they had waited long enough they decided now was the time to attempt their attack, so when they shunpoed off they hid their reiatsu momentarily so their opponents wouldn't know until the time of attack where they were.

Kizomaru was first to make herself known once more, her body just ten feet behind Kali when she reappeared. Her weapons were now drawn and a look of sheer determination was spread across her face, planing to do whatever it took to send the enemies crawling home with tails between their legs. The night time had set in, fueling the huntress within her. For when the moon was as high as it could be and the sky had been draped in the thick blanket of darkness that was when she came to life, the nighttime bringing out her more sadistic fighting style and a look of blood lust within those crystal blue orbs. She took the wakizashi within her left hand and began to speed forward, planning on using this weapon for attack and the one in her right to block if she was able. When she was two feet behind him she reared back and took a slash vertically down his back from between his shoulder blades to his tail bone, hopping that the element of surprise was still on their side and that the attack would land but figuring that they had enough time to sense their presence she was almost positive the attack would be blocked. Never did she underestimate an opponent in battle, she knew it would be the downfall of her if she did.

Shuuhei was next, making himself known five feet fro Lanu's left. His personality always became a little darker when he would battle, able to sense an enemies fear or hesitance while fighting. Not so much sense so much as gauge really, but he would try to use that to his advantage. With his weapon drawn he would charge forward, stopping himself when he was three feet away. He would cock his body to the left and take a horizontal slash at the other males side, from the back of his hip to the front of his stomach. Hoping himself that the attack would land and that surprise was still on their side, though he knew from experience it wasn't easy to surprise this kind of opponent so he had the feeling this first attack would be blocked. Especially since by now they had probably been sensed by the other two, though he didn't let this fact discourage him. Keeping the faith that hopefully he would land the attack and gain a slight upper hand, it wouldn't be much but it would be something none the less.

Kali had stopped in his steps by now, still paying close mind to the presences he had picked up on before. "Don't let them think we know that their here" he spoke quietly, eying Lanu's hand on his zanpaktou like a silent warning. His expression changed just slightly to one that would counter act what he just said. The spiritual pressure was gone. Either its source had gone elsewhere or had hidden it, likely the latter based on the fact that he and Lanu were probably known. He didn't recognize the spiritual pressure to belong to one of their own kind so he had figured an attack was eminent.

He wasn't let down when it reappeared and he heard footsteps crunching the grass behind him. In an instant he had turned around and with a movement quick enough to not even be seen he had drawn his zanpaktou. The black blade flashed under the moonlight as it sliced through the air to come in contact with the wakizashi. The clash of blades caused a ringing to echo around them and a few sparks flew out from between them. His eyes narrowed into a glare that defined the term of "if looks could kill" as they gazed to the woman from in between loose bangs that hung over his face. Digging the heels of black boots into the ground below him, Kali gave a fierce push against his katana, aiming to send the shinigami backwards and perhaps off her balance if he was lucky enough. At the same time he pushed off with his feet, leaving nothing but a cloud of dust in his place as he sonidoed roughly 20 feet backwards.

"Seems like that question has been decided for us, brother" his voice had become rougher, more raspy than the quiet silk-like sound it always had. When he fought he always became a bit darker, taking on the role of Death that crows reflected to some. He lifted his zanpaktou, holding it out toward the attacker as he looked her over from head to toe. He then glanced to the other shinigami that had targetted Lanu, knowing better than to interfere with his brother's fun even if the male shinigami was the stronger which he had assumed.

Lanu grip on his zanpakuto tightened at the moment the spiritual pressure made itself known once again, his eyes focused on the other while he saw that his brother was occupied as it is. Lanu in a swift motion that seemed faster then once eye sight could comprehend he unsheathes his zanpakuto and send it to block the attack of the second attack, he sensed it was at a captain's level but had no fear in his eyes.


draping over lanu was a look of seriousness digging his foot into the ground he would tilt his head to the side while the two blades clash, the sparks of the blades lite his eyes under the raven black bangs that seemed to brush themselves from his face due to the impact of the attack. Lanu too kin the words his brother spoke before giving a light sneer upon his face. "indeed brother..and it seems we both have someone to play with..how nice."


with that said Lanu would fixate his glare to his attacker before attempting to push back the shinigami with enough force to try and cause him to stumble upon being forced back. if the force back succeeded he would send a slash in the air bringing his zanpakuto to his right side with a look of dread on his face, he would sonido back a few feet roughly around the the same as his brother but in another direction for he knew not to get in the way of his battle.

The force of the counter did indeed send the young lieutenant flying backwards, tumbling backwards towards a near by tree. Though being a quick thinker Kizomaru dug the wakizashi in her right hand into the ground to slow her speed so that when she made contact with the tree the damage wasn't as harsh as it could have been, shaken the girl stood. Giving a sigh when she caught her breath from being thrown backwards like a rag doll, she dusted herself off and tried to assess the situation and strength of her enemies. Figuring they had to be pretty high ranked, but the more important question is why they were here. She shrugged it off for the moment, her eyes on her current enemy as she held the blade in her left hand out.

"Tell me...What are so many of you doing here?" Kizomaru asked, her tone dark and threatening. Her full attention on the Arrancar before her, her curiosity had gotten the better of her. She figured there had to be an organized reason for an assault on the human world and she was hoping to get an answer, though knowing enemies rarely shared their plans she figured he wouldn't be so kind as to indulge her. Wondering though, if he did speak what all he would tell her. She knew it wouldn't be much but something was better than nothing, and she wasn't planning on taking nothing as an answer. Quickly she glanced over to Shuuhei, seeing him currently in a power struggle with the Arrancar he chose to fight. 'I wonder if it'd be wise to switch opponents..' She thought silently to herself, her gaze immediately returning to her opponent after she saw what she felt she needed to see.

Shuuhei struggled back, the force wasn't truly enough to send him flying but it did make him struggle a bit. He got a little distracted when he heard the thump Kizomaru made and that was enough to send him off his footing, though he snapped back to attention when he noticed the blade heading his way. He jumped out of the way of the main blow but catching a cut on his leg due to the jump being late and mistimed, he shunpoed back a few feet. Just a foot further than Kizomaru was currently standing, his eyes were narrowed in a glare at the two.

He stood with both hands gripping the hilt of Kazeshini, he remained silent as the question asked by Kizomaru was one he wanted an answer to as well. So while he awaited the answer he tried his best to determine the strength of their opponents, all the while figuring out the best course of action to take in this situation. Glancing around momentarily at the surroundings, a lake guarded by a few trees and some buildings off in the distance. The captain seemed to be deep in thought as his gaze returned to the enemies before them, knowing it wasn't wise to keep eyes off of ones opponents for long.

Lanu looked to his brother while he stood on the reiatsu in the air, his black irises would focus on the two shinigami, hearing the question of their presence being brought up he couldn't help but answer before his brother seeing as they were hear because of him. Lanu would lift his blade and bring his to lay lightly on his right shoulder before speaking towards the two shinigami.
"well you see, we are here because we can..i see no harm in a little stroll of the world of the living..no do you?"

he didn't expect the shinigami to answer or take his words to heart nor did he care one bit, he for one knew the density of a shinigami's brain and the stubbornness of their ways, Lanu then adverted his deep black gaze to his brother who was somewhat a time to himself but easily distinguished and separated before turning his gaze back to the shinigamis that was at hand. the gentle breeze began to pick up as he went silent after giving a brief explanation of their presence.

Even though it wasn't anywhere near a disabling as he had hoped, Kali was pleased with the thud he heard as the female was sent back into the tree. The satisfaction passed quickly though and he became serious on the fight to come, knowing he wouldn't be completely at peace until both shinigami were history or retreating back with fear glistening in their eyes.

"Though when it comes to the others I couldn't tell you of their reasons for being here" he added on to Lanu's answer, able to tell there were other arrancars in the town, probably part of the commotion they had sensed from the street and other areas of town. Even if he had known why they had shown up it wasn't like he would really tell these shinigami anyway. He didn't think they were on the same break type visit, likely under orders that were to be kept secret.

Kali glanced over to his sibling, feeling eyes on him. He met black eyes for only a second before returning his line of sight to the two shinigami. He gave just the slightest nod of acknowledgement to Lanu and a fraction of a second later he propelled himself forward. His image could only be seen briefly before it appeared to disappear in a sonido. Kali became visible just a few feet above Kizomaru with his foot firmly planted on the trunk of the tree. His eyes were wide with a trill of sorts but the rest of his face remained void of emotion in concentration. He gave an extra push with that foot on the trunk, using the momentum it gave him to increase the power of the strike he was aiming for as he brought his zanpaktou down to cut right down from the female's shoulder and down her chest.

It was Shuuhei who shunpoed forward and protected Kizomaru from the attack of the Arrancar, his blade blocking the hit from the other male though despite he still felt the wound in his own left shoulder simply because of all the force put into the attack. The distraction gave Kizomaru time to shunpo away from the other male and take Shuuhei's previous position, her eyes widened slightly when she saw the damage he had taken but she quickly shook off the look and mentally cursed at him for taking a hit for her.

Shuuhei pushed off the others blade and jumped back twelve feet, looking over at his wound and seeing the damage it had caused. He was just happy it wasn't Kizomaru who had taken the attack because with the amount of force behind it and how close ranged it was it would have caused her a grave injury, though the wound was bad for him he felt he could handle it better. Standing upright and holding his zanpakuto at his side for the moment, he took a breath to speak."It causes damage to the humans here, not that I'd expect you to care about them..But that's why we're here, to protect them from any damage you cause while being here." He replied to his former opponent, initiating a switch of enemies for the two.

Kizomaru sighed and looked over at him, not happy with his injury but there wasn't anything she could do right now. She kept her faith that he would make it through the battle alright, knowing that loosing the faith was a bad thing or feeling like if she were to loose it it would be like she was giving up on him. Also knowing there was no point in discussing the issue right now as it wasn't the right time, she simply looked to her new opponent and sighed."Since you won't leave willingly we'll have to make you." She stated in a dark tone, shifting her position a little and holding her zanpakuto in a stance."Keiru, Ankoku!" Releasing her shikai, her blades turning from their normal silver color to pitch black. In fact both swords had become pitch black and appeared as though they were made of shadows themselves.

When she released her shikai she grinned a little, holding her zanpakuto out in front of her."Shadow Vanish!" Kizomaru called, seeming to vanish completely into thin air. Melting into the darkness on the ground like ice would melt under a hot summer sun, hiding her reiatsu while she was gone. Though she didn't plan on staying down there for long, she was just getting ready for an attack on Lanu. Reappearing not but a few inches less than a foot away from his body, she took a double slash at him. One across his chest and the other across his stomach, hoping one blow would land.

Shuuhei made his own next move, vanishing using shunpo and appearing twenty feet in the air above Kali. He held two fingers out in front of him and focused his reiatsu, planning on using a kido."Bakudo #61,Rikujokoro!" Sending six thin beams of light towards the other male that if they made contact would slam his midsection and pin him in place, should that kido work he would then shunpo forward and attempt to slash at the other male's chest. Wanting to do as much damage as he could if the kido succeeded in capturing Kali.

Lanu would remain focused on the female as being his new opponent, he remained unflinching by the release of her shikai, he watched as she vanished gripping his zanpakuto tight yet easily maneuverable he would in a quick movement see her reappear he would react by raising his blade and pointing it downward over his chest and torso, the motion of his blade caused her blade to slash the two edges of his zanpakuto. watching her he would give a light grin before speaking softly to the woman his voice gave off a subtle chill as it left his lips. "my turn.." before fully getting his words from his lips he reacted by turning the sharp edge towards the female to attempt a upward slash from her stomach to chest.

if his attack landed he would use sonido to vanish from the front of her to only show up yet again behind her to seize an open attack on her back with a hard kick that should be able to know her to the ground if a direct kick. if she were to dodge his first attack he would continue to proceed with his second attack as a follow up.

For just a moment Kali's lips turned down in a scowl as Shuuhei leapt ahead to block his attack on the female who he wasn't sure could withstand the power of it. It would have taken out one of them out of the picture so quickly. That would be much too easy of course and even shinigami had to present a challenge, especially ones by the ranks he figured these two were.

Kali landed on both feet, crouched down some but he quickly rose to stand up straight. He could tell his opponent had changed and therefore paid little mind to Kizomaru anymore. She was Lanu concern now afterall. So instead he kept his eyes on the captain ranked shinigami, taking small mental notes as he eyed him from head to toe.

"You'd be correct in your thinking. Human safety isn't one of our higher priorities" he rasped out thickly to offer an answer to the new source of his attention.He lifted his zanpaktou again, the moonlight giving it a soft glow much like that it offered to barely visible silver eyes. Those eyes narrowed when Shuuhei vanished, glancing around for a moment before he relocated the shinigami, feeling his presence above him. He recognized his pose as one to use Kido of sorts but he didn't move from his place, instead waiting for it. When he spotted the beams of light he moved quickly, though instead of moving out of the way of what he recognized as bakudo, Kali raised his free hand in a hurry before it could be rendered useless. His index finger and middle finger were now pointed at Shuuhei and stuck that way as the beams struck him, leaving him unable to move.

Even if he couldn't even flinch he could still attack. A flickering violet light began to form at his extended fingertips, soon creating a small orb of spirit energy that grew larger by the second.As his lips turned up at the edges in a momentary smirk Kali's silver eyes met Shuuhei's for a brief moment before the violet cero erupted from his fingers shooting straight for the shinigami with great speed.

Seeing him ready for a counter Kizomaru wasted no time to dodge, using her Shadow Vanish ability once more to successfully dodge his slash and in the process dodging the kick he had planned to follow up with, her reiatsu hidden while she was gone. Though despite being cloaked by the shadows her voice could still be heard, so when she spoke next Lanu would surely be able to hear her."Kage Torappu!" Her strong voice rung out, setting a sort of snare trap which was made by shadows on the ground that should Lanu land in it he would be caught by the ankle and it would make it harder to move and evade an attack.

Should he be caught by her trap she would emerge from her shadow hiding spot and attempt another double slash, one for the front of his neck and the other a diagonal swipe from his left shoulder down to across his chest. Even if he weren't caught Kizomaru would still emerge from the shadows and attempt this attack anyway, since she had a limit to how long she could remain cloaked within the darkness of the shadows. She knew it would be hard to land a hit but not really impossible, able to sense the difference in their strength but she didn't let it phase her. Keeping a positive attitude about her while fighting, knowing a negative approach would be the end of her.

Stopping three feet before the cero Shuuhei quickly shunpoed out of the way of the main blast, though due to it's speed his haori got singed but he managed to avoid being damaged by the cero. Knowing that if he hadn't dodged it would have been horrible for him, his eyes narrowed at the other male. Seeing he was pinned in place by the kido made him feel more confident in his next set of actions, standing ten feet behind Kali he gripped his zanpakuto tightly and shunpoed forward. When he was about thirty inches away he slashed at the other male's back, a vertical slash which was done in an upward motion. Going from the base of Kali's tail bone to the base of his neck, if the Arrancar had some how been able to dodge or block the attack Shuuhei would then shunpo to the mans right and attempt a horizontal slash across Kali's hip to the front of his stomach which would end the slash just before his navel.

However if the attack were successful Shuuhei would attempt to perform a blitz attack, shunpoing first to Kali's front and attempting an upwards diagonal attack from his right hip to his left shoulder. Then he would shunpo off to the male's side and perform a vertical slash from his left hip up to under the left arm before he would then shunpo to the other side and perform the same upwards vertical slash from his right hip under the right arm, though the blitz attacks could still be blocked if the Arrancar were able to break the kido and become free to move once more. None of the attacks Shuuhei were performing would be fatal but they would do some damage if they landed, all of this depended on whether or not Shuuhei's first attack to Kali's back landed or not. But since the other man was bound by the kido he figured he had a good shot to land some damage, though he knew that due to the high strength of his enemy the kido wouldn't last long which is why he was moving so quickly to land some sort of damage while the kido lasted since he could feel it getting weaker.

Frowning with the lack of any effect from his cero and now lack of any target within his pointing fingers, Kali changed where he focused his spirit energy. He tried to escape the Kido as it weakened knowing that if he didn't the results would be unfavorable, for him anyway. He kept his eyes on Shuuhei, narrowing them into a glare when the shinigami came closer, obviously ready to attack. It was still to soon though and all the espada could manage to do was twitch with the strength to overpower the beams that trapped him. An almost silent hiss made itself known through clenched teeth when the blade came down on his back. However it did give him a greater determination to get away and he increased his output of spirit energy, resulting in the shattering of the beams just before the other male could land another blow though the tail of his coat met the blow, effectively getting torn before Kali could sonido 20 feet back.

He faltered in his landing, pain rushing through the woung along his back. Kali slumped forward slightly, glaring through messy black bangs. He took only a moent to recompose himself, standing up straight again, seemingly unphased on the outside. He lifted his hand again, pointing his fingers at shuuhei again and faster faster than an eye could blink he was shooting of round after round of less ppowerful, violet ceros. After sending nearly fifty, he sonidoed straight up the middle of them, hoping the shinigami would be somewhat busy dodging the ceros. If he was lucky enough he would reach Shuuhei, sword slashing at him aiming to start from his hip up to his shoulder. If the attack was blocked or dodged Kali still had a chance of causing some damage as he quickly turned some, kicking out and aiming at his ribs with the powerful blow.

coming to the ground he feels a sudden trap of his feet, without any type of expression on his face he remained in a calm state of mind. he was never the type to over think things in a battle, watching the woman reappear he would give a light tilt of his head before her attack could be put in motion he speaks in a soft tone. " soar from the sea of blood Cuervo.." the moment he speaks his reiatsu would burst from his being causing a shield of reiatsu to block her swing to his neck that could have been fatal, but at the moment her second attack broke through slashing at his shoulder and chest leaving but a minor injury.

As his transformation continues Reiatsu turns to raven black feathers and circle his body in a cyclone like barrier while hes in transition he grows jet blackish blue raven wings his hollow fragment shatters from his eye and forms onto his mouth as a black bird beak his espada clothing becomes drenched in blackness becoming a black long cloak that free flows and black fitting pants on his fingers forms black fingerless gloves his hair is jet black and becomes two strands of white with red stands on the back the choker forms a silver cross and his eyes become a piercing yellow with a thick black outline around them and a silver marking under his right eye.

the power level of his reiatsu shatters her attack he would speak through the cyclone in a soft tone that she should somewhat hear to the sound of a raven's screech from the cyclone. "cero.." pointing his finger out a jet black cero with dark purple outline would charge in his finger, ignoring the pain in his shoulder the closeness of this shinigami would end fatal if she is to be struck he then released the ray from his two fingers.

Seeing the bala rushing towards him Shuuhei narrowed his eyes, he knew what their main objective was but he still didn't have a choice but to maneuver around them. Since he had been too busy avoiding the main blasts of bala, though some of them did give him a minor burn, he was left open to the other male's attack. A groan escaped his throat when he felt the blade make contact with his body, ignoring the pain he would jump out of the way of what appeared to be a follow up to the slash. Avoiding the kick and landing himself five feet away from Kali.

Shuuhei paused himself, more a time to compose himself when he felt Kizomaru's opponent enter his ressureccion. At this point he entered a deep state of thought, assessing the battle field, there was one release form and a shikai in use. He cursed silently, normally Shuuhei would hate to use his shikai and prefered it as a last resort but as the battled lingered on he was finding no ways around it though ultimantly he decided against using his shikai for now. Wanting to hold off for a little while longer if he was able, figuring he could wait for another attack or two before he decided to rely on his last resort.

He began thinking about what tricks he had up his sleeve, literally, he mulled over an idea for what seemed like forever before he finally decided to mobilize. Using shunpo to appear to vanish, hiding his spirit energy for the moment. He reappeared five feet above Kali to his right side, his zanpakuto drawn back and glisten under the light of the pale moon. Planning to use the force of his falling form to add a little extra strength to his attack, attempting a vertical downward slash from his right shoulder to his waist. Should the attack land Shuuhei would then shunpo behind the other male and attempt to kick him in the center of his back and hopefully knock him off balance, if that attack failed though he had another plan. If the attack were to be blocked or dodged and depending on whether or not he had time Shuuhei would dislodge one of the explosive armbands he wore, which would then set of an explosion about three feet from the male. The blast would be minor and not really meant in this scenario for damage, it was meant more as a means to conceal him as the smoke from the explosion would provide a cover and make it harder for his enemy to see him. Though all this depended on whether or not his first attack went through, for the nothing is set in stone and the attack could be easily blocked or dodged if Kali reacted quick enough.

When her opponent entered his Ressureccion form Kizomaru's eyes widened for she knew whatever happened next would be bad, so she jumped back ten feet to put as much distance between herself and Lanu as possible. Seeing him charging a cero she knew she was right, she took a breath and assessed the situation and decided on using a Kido as her defense. Holding her zanpakuto out in front of her she began to focus her reiatsu, the kido she was using would require some time but she felt she had just enough. With a breath she spoke, strongly and firmly."Mother of Shadow, Goddess of the Night, envelope me within thine embrace and shield me from disaster! Bakudo #57, Kagehouyou(Shadow Embrace)!" As soon as the words left her mouth she became enveloped in a jet black reiatsu which formed a sphere around her, creating a barrier of sorts to help her withstand the impact of the Cero. When the Cero made contact with the barrier the force she felt as it tried to force its way inside was powerful but the Bakudo protected her, as soon as the Cero had run it's course the sphere disappeared and Kizomaru panted. The kido taking it's toll on her, her eyes narrowed at the male before her in a threatening manner.

She took her two zanpakuto and held them one on top of the other and took a breath, her eyes had closed as she focused herself."Bankai!" Kizomaru cried in a loud voice, when the words left her lips a burst of reiatsu could be felt and she became encased once more in a violet colored reiatsu. When it faded she was dressed in a kimono like dress which was purple with silver and black intricate designs and purple knee high tabi and black geta with a silver cloth thong on each piece of foot ware. Around her neck sat a black choker with a silver crescent moon pendant dangling from it, her weapon had become a bishamon yari, the central blade is pitch black while the two crescent moon shaped blades are silver. The tachiuchi is solid black, the shaft is colored deep purple and is four feet long. At the end of the shaft of the Bishamon yari is a black ishizuki, tied at the end is a long deep purple cloth which can be used to swing the bishamon yari as well as throw it at the enemy."Kage Ookami no Joou Ankoku (Shadow Wolf Queen, Ankoku)" She spoke the name of her bankai, feeling a renewed sense of strength flow through her.

She gripped the shaft of her bishamon yari tightly in her right hand, her left hand had gripped the long flowing cloth at the end. She shunpoed forward six feet before she stopped and gripped the cloth in her left hand tightly, using her right hand to launch her new weapon forward at Lanu. Aiming for his stomach she was hopping the attack would land, if it did it would puncture his gut but not go all the way through, also if it would land she would quickly yank on the cloth and withdraw her weapon before she would charge forward and attempt to slash diagonally down from his left shoulder to his left hip. If this attack failed she would attempt to quickly recoil her weapon and take a defensive stance to protect herself from her enemies would be attempted assault.

When his black blade met flesh it was one of the most peasing sounds. When he noticed his oppnent to be gone from his former place, Kali extended his legs to catch hilself, sliding to a stop. Skid marks were left in the ground leading to the place where the espada now stood, grass getting caught in a light breeze as it flew up from its rooted spot in the dirt that was disrupted.

Feeling a more than substantial rise in spiritual pressure, Kali took a moment to glance over to the other fight. He wasn't surprised to see his brother's resurecction, sure that it would only be a matter of time before he used it anyway. In the back of his mind he wondered if he should release his own. However in this fight it didn't seem neceesay just yet, not when the shinigami he was fighting hadn't even used his shikai. What he hadn't expected was the female's bankai. Kali hadn't sensed that kind of power from her before. It wasn't a bad surprise though. Lanu would get his fun and then they could go home and hopefully be greeted by less boredom than they left behind.

Feeling he had observed long enough, he looked back to Shuuhei who was gone in a second. Kali couldn't help the slightest widening of his eyes, mentally cursing himself for getting distracted no matter how confident he might have been. When the shinigami's spiritual pressure returned, he looked up instantly, spotting the attacker. He grit his teeth but wasted no time in lifting his zanpaktou, holding it up horizontally while his other hand held up the blade on it's dull side, effectively blocking the slash with a loud ringing of clashing swords. He pushed greatly against his katana, trying to get some space between them again but then something caught his eye. He didn't have much time to think over what it was and by the time he there wasn't time to get far enough away though that didn't stop him from trying, Kali pushed off the ground, away from the explosive that went of a fraction of a second later. It pushed him back further but didn't do any harm other than leaving a smokey stain on his white clothes.

Kali lunged out from the smoke the explosion had created, covering his mouth with an oversized sleeve. He stood at the edge of the smoke, weapon readily awaiting another attack he was possitive would come from the concealing smoke cloud. He kept his eyes narrow and sharp, senses on high for any clue of where Shuuhei might be within the blackness of smoke. Besides having his zanpaktou readily waiting to clash with the shinigami's his hand was extended again, the familiar violet glowing orb manifesting there, grown more powerful by the second as it waiting to be released as an ever growing stronger cero that would be shot whenever Shuuhei revealed himself.
