Karakura High School

A frustrated look crossed Ichigo’s features as he found that Luna was somehow able to keep a grip on her blade. Judging by her reiatsu level compared to that of the other noticeably powerful arrancars that had come to Karakura, he hadn’t thought that she would be able to withstand the force of his attacks. He vaguely wondered whom Luna was talking about when she had said that someone had already gotten hurt, but he figured it couldn’t be anything serious as no reiatsu levels had dropped suddenly, which would indicate for sure that someone was having trouble.

“If it’s so simple then why can’t you say it?” Ichigo questioned irritably before Luna attacked him again. This time, he simply dipped Zangetsu right under Luna’s blade, creating an annoying screeching sound as the two blades slid against each other. It looked like her hit would land until Ichigo suddenly jerked his wrist upwards and jolting Zangetsu slightly up in the air. This action would definitely cause Luna’s blade to be deflected backwards, straight up into the air. This time, Ichigo wasn’t even trying to disarm her, but to leave her open. Not wasting any time, Ichigo stepped forward, getting right inside Luna’s defence while her sword would be up in the air, unusable in this instant. He swung Zangetsu towards her right arm. The swing was so wide and powerful that it could potentially cut her arm off if Luna didn’t react at all. Even if it didn’t, the path of the blade would also be able to cut across her torso. It was a vicious and spontaneous style of attack, but with multiple reiatsu levels starting to appear all over Karakura, he was getting tired of messing around.

After his blade was blocked, Luka exerted a small amount of force on Rin’s blade to push himself away. He landed a couple meters back from her, on his feet. His blue-grey eyes widened a little when he saw the sudden blast of black flames coming towards him and he was slow to react. He haphazardly swung his blade towards the flames, managing to cut the blast in half so that the two streams of fire flew past him on his right. It was too close though; as the flames flew by him, they caught on the right shoulder of his white kosode and quickly burned that sleeve off, leaving him with a minor burn. Though once the flames met his hierro, they dissipated rapidly.

This is going nowhere. . . .

Luka thought as his blade began to glow with an ethereal grey light, as if a cero were building inside the blade.

A shadowy blob formed on a nearby rooftop, before it formed into Tesei. Bringing his cane to the ground, he let his hood fall over his face. Tapping twice, he used the sound to figure out the layout of the location. Using the massive reiatsu output from the one he assumed was Ichigo, he watched the fight he was having. His style of fighting seemed to be the complete opposite of Tesei's. Full-on brutal offense without a thought of defense. They both had a similar idea of spontaneous attacks and unusual ideas, but beyond that they were complete opposites. It would be fun to take him on if he really needed to do so for the blood sample.

(Athagaraz, Rin won't be able to post for a while so you may as well just attack Ichigo whenever you get the chance.)

An amorphous shadow sprung up from the many shadows littering the rooftop, redirecting the slash away from Luna's arm and into the sky. Smirking at the opening he had made, Tesei aimed his left hand, gathering energy within the hole in it before he fired it off. The Gran Rey Cero that fired off from his hand streaked forward, hoping to take advantage of the opening made by the sudden redirection of that massive weight Ichigo called a sword. Fading back away into the shadows, Tesei appeared on the same rooftop as Ichigo and the other fighters were on.

"Why hello there. I hope your Ichigo, otherwise I may have attacked the wrong person. My eyes aren't what they used to be, so I hope no one innocent was harmed."

The tone of Tesei's voice wasn't too serious, it was more like he was being playful with the man. Tesei may have known Aizen's fate, but he still wished to anger Ichigo with his teasing. After all, an angry opponent with enough reiatsu pouring out for Tesei to literally 'see' every detail of the area nearby would be easier to contend with. The cane Tesei had in his hand rested on the ground, awaiting for Ichigo's response. From what Tesei knew of Ichigo, it would be a typical slash with his sword. The response from him, less so. After all, he would hardly be a step above Aizen if he kept to a specific pattern in his attacks.

(If your character isn't an espada, he cannot use a gran rey cero. I'll just assume it's a normal cero when I get a chance to post though. >_>)

(One would assume being the leaders right hand man and an Arrancar would make me equal to an espada and able to sue it. Sorry if its not true)

(It's not. Not only was it implied in Bleach, but it's also a rule here. So again, I'll assume it was a normal cero when I post. -3-)

Ichigo had been fairly confident that his slash would land, so when the shadow suddenly sprung up and deflected Zangetsu, Ichigo was caught off guard and mildly shocked. As he was sent stumbling backwards by the weight of Zangetsu suddenly being thrown upwards, Ichigo didn’t have much time to react. All he managed to do before the cero hit him was allow his reiatsu to flare a little. The powerful force took some of the damage from the cero, though it did nothing to quell the force with which Ichigo was sent flying. Ichigo landed on his back many meters away from where he had been previously, and it could be seen that smoke was rising off his clothes, which were now tattered in some places. Still, he appeared unfazed when he got up.

“You’ll be happy to know that you got the right person. . . .” Ichigo said in a scathing, sarcastic manner before swinging Zangetsu forwards to hold it in a defensive position in front of his body. The silver-edged blade began to glow with a blue-white hue moments later, but he had made no movement to attack quite yet.

“Is a close-up cero your typical greeting, or do you have some business with me?” he asked in an irritable tone, still training his sword on Tesei. This newcomer felt much stronger than whom he had been fighting before. Ichigo figured if he beat this guy, he could definitely get information out of him somehow.

"Easy, easy. No reason to get all dramatic." Tesei told Ichigo in a placating manner, "I just decided to test you is all." Disappearing into the shadows again, he popped out behind Ichigo and whispered, "You know what?" Tesei disappeared again and appeared at his side. "You don't seem altogether that witty." Tesei added before he disappeared and reappeared at his original location. "I'm glad to finally meet you. The man who killed Aizen and helped me get my current position. I thank you for that, Ichigo. For that, I won't kill you if I win." Tesei explained, spinning his cane around his hand, "First move goes to you. Play it well."

He wondered if Ichigo had realized his zanpakuto was the cane or if he expected Tesei to pull a sword from elsewhere. Wouldn't matter, he was already in Resurreccion from his little teasing match with Felicity and could just pull whatever he wanted from the shadows as a weapon.

I’m the one who’s being dramatic . . .? What’s with this guy?

Ichigo wondered; by now, there was a definite irritable undertone to his thoughts. The playful mannerisms of Tesei were increasingly annoying, especially given what was going on. He could still feel multiple reiatsu levels clashing in various locations throughout the town. Why would arrancars attack now, and in somewhat of an organized fashion? Ichigo knew that something big was going down, and he had to find out what. Ichigo narrowed his eyes slightly; if Teisei was giving him the first move, he must have thought that he would be able to come up with a good counter.

So I won’t give him a chance to. . . .

He thought as he shifted his left foot forward a little, before pushing off the ground and disappearing altogether, obviously using shunpo. Shortly after, he would appear right in front of Tesei; abount two feet away, crouching close to the ground with Zangetsu held out to the side on a slightly diagonal angle, the tip of the blade nearly touching the ground. The brilliant, white-hued energy that had been swirling across the blade now erupted forth as Ichigo swung Zangetsu towards Tesei, if it hit, the blade would only cut Tesei a little, but the wave of reiryoku would do much worse damage in comparison, as it surged towards his entire body in the form of a large wave. In other words, if Tesei escaped the slash, there was still a good chance of him getting hit by the wave.

Dante could be seen exiting the School building his face looking as if he was a little annoyed from all the clashing riatsu in the area an within the city. But as he tryed to ignore it he slide his hands within his pockets of his black pants an turned towards the Orange haired boy an his opponant. His black hair would blow smothly in the wind as his red bang moved along his face an then stop next to his right icy blue eye. His blood red tie would move softly against his black dress shirt. As he watched the two his red reiatsu flowed around him calmly making no notion that he was going to attack. Turning away from the two his eyes would shift towards the other one that was here that he had walked past. Shrugging he would continue to walk out of the school yard an past a few giggling girls that had been looking at him the whole time.

Tesei smirked as he felt Ichigo's reiatsu begin it's rush towards him. The way he had it pouring out and the massively concentrated reiatsu around his zanpakuto made him extremely easy to see. Looking at the angle of the blade, Tesei saw an easy solution. Controlling the shadow beneath him, he flung himself into the air, passing over the scything blade Ichigo had attempted to wound him with. Flipping in the air, he swung his cane at Ichigo's head with his cane. Landing behind him, Tesei spun on his heel to face his opponent.

"So do you think you can beat me with such brute force tactics?" Tesei questioned, leaning on his cane. The shadow beneath him was currently unmoving, while the one behind Ichigo sank back to the ground. Tesei would not say it, but Ichigo could probably best him in a straight-forward fight. But this wasn't a straight-forward fight and fighting fair wasn't part of Tesei's ideals.

Ichigo had been counting on his sudden attack catching Tesei off-guard, but even so, he hadn’t ruled out the possibility of him evading the slash, and even the wave somehow. As Tesei flipped over him, Ichigo straightened up and slashed up towards Tesei’s cane, deflecting the blow. It seemed that Ichigo could match, even outmatch Teisei’s speed with some ease. From the direction that Tesei had propelled himself up into the air from, it was obvious where he would land; Ichigo turned to face him, now with a more serious expression.

“I seem to be doing all right so far . . . it seems like ‘brute force tactics’ are all that I’ll need to beat you.” Ichigo said in a straightforward manner before raising Zangetsu again. Like before, a blue-white aura began to swirl about the blade, but this time, it was much more powerful; dense and pure.

“I’ll give you one more chance to leave now. If you don’t, I’ll just have to kick your ass.” he threatened. The intense reiatsu that was being given off by Zangetsu’s blade was definitely making itself known, as a brisk wind had suddenly sprung up, centered on the two fighters. It wasn’t immediately obvious, but Ichigo was becoming increasingly impatient. It seemed that every time he was about to go and help someone, a new enemy popped up.

Letting a smirk cross his face, Tesei snidely replied to Ichigo, "If you want to kick my ass, you're gonna have to catch me first." Disappearing from his current location, he was seamlessly replaced by a shadowy clone of himself. The only difference between the two were subtle white marks across the eyes, neck, and heart. Appearing behind Ichigo, Tesei disappeared again, leaving another clone behind. The twin clones both charged Ichigo in sync, drawing their respective swords from their canes. Both launched slashes at Ichigo, one going for his neck, the other the base of his spine.

On the other side of the roof, Tesei appeared hidden behind some of the typical rooftop implements. Using his special Pesquisa, he maintained a vision f the fight his twin shadow duplications were to engage in.

Zander seeing what was happening would dash across the rooftop, thudding could be heard as the soles of his boots hit the concrete. He would cast Hado 1 on the shadow clone behind Ichigo as he ran, then as so as the kido was cast he would use his right hand to draw his zanpakuto and shunpos in front of Ichigo and uses his own blade to block the incoming.The hado spell worked peefectly sending the clone behind Ichigo would be knocked of his feet and sent flying to its left a dozen feet. Then Zander would to cast bakudo 4 against the one in front of him as to restrict its movements.

You alright kid? ill take care of these two, you deal with the real one and ill join ya shortly.

Zander would look back at the one that was behind this orang headed kid and frown before casting Hado 54 causing purple spiritual pressure to build, before its fired at the clone on the ground. The clone gives out a nasty snarl as it stands and the attack hits it square in the chest where a human diaphram is. He then looks at the second clone now held in kidou and gives it a hard kick to the gut as the chain vanishes.

[color=orange] Alright time to see what this thing can do it will help me prepare for the real thing.

Ichigo was bracing himself, preparing to fend off both of Tesei’s clones at once. He had been planning to destroy the one coming from the front with the Getsuga Tensho that was still being fed into the blade of Zangetsu by his reiryoku, and then turn around to deal with the second, but then it turned out that he didn’t need to. He stared at Zander with surprise evident in his expression, as he didn’t have any clue whom the newcomer was. Remembering the situation at hand, Ichigo turned back to Tesei, looking to where he was now standing on the roof, partially hidden.

“All right, thanks for that.” He replied to Zander. He had already decided that any questions could wait, obviously chasing off the arrancars was a more important matter. Then of course, there just had to be yet another interruption. Ichigo was forced to jump back as several fiery waves rained down from above. Now the whole area in which they had been standing was shrouded in dark grey smoke. Ichigo vaguely hoped that Zander had been able to evade the barrage of fire waves as well, and yet, that wasn’t his main concern. Ichigo could feel another spiritual pressure approaching quickly.

The arrancar from earlier . . . then what happened to the other person he was fighting? Ichigo thought. Though he didn’t know who it had been, it angered him that someone who had tried to help defend Karakura might have been killed by the very person who had just attacked him. The output of reiryoku from Zangetsu was truly massive now; he knew that the new arrancar was coming up in front of him, and that was all he needed. Without hesitating, Ichigo lashed out with Zangetsu, swinging the dark blade in a powerful vertical arc. The execution of this slash unleashed the reiryoku. Before it had been swirling, almost in a playful manner, but now it soared towards Sage at an incredible speed, taking on the form of a great blue-white blast, blowing away a majority of the smoke on the battlefield.

“Getsuga Tensho!” Ichigo knew full well that speaking the name of the attack would make it much stronger, and he was done messing around. Given the speed of the attack and the range, plus the fact that Sage had been travelling at a high momentum, it was imminent that the arrancar would take moderate to heavy damage. Even if he tried unleashing his cero to block it, the resulting explosion would harm him all the more. After releasing the attack, Ichigo jumped back a few meters, looking around to see if he could spot Zander, or one of his attackers.

Standing up from his hiding spot, Tesei was stunned. Apparently there Sage and decided to rush the place and wanted Ichigo's blood. Shrugging his shoulders simply, he noticed the earth near him beginning to move. Warping again, the shadows he left behind had no time to form a clone before they were pierced by stalagmites. Appearing behind Zander, he asked the Vizard, "Did you seriously just try to kill me? The right hand man to the leader of the arrancar. Since it appears you want to try something and Sage wants to take some rage out on Ichigo, why don't you entertain me? After all, you need to pay for the rips your little stalagmites caused in my clothing." The cat over his shoulders has a few shallow cuts in it, some of which carried through to Tesei's skin. They were mere scratches to the arrancar but this showed that this Vizard had a little speed.
