| First topic message reminder :The Captains office was a squarely-designed roomed, with almost each corner being entireley covered by bookcases and their contents. Two square windows adorn this room, with one of them opening up out onto a Balcony. A desk, which sits at the front and to the side of the Balcony, is adjacent to two ornately-designed sofa's. Green in colour, as is the colour of Squad 10. At the Desk is a chair for the Captain of the Squad to sit and carry out her work, whether it was paperwork or otherwise. The desk holds a secret containment, usually used to hold different types of Sake and whatnot. Pictures and paintings adjorn the walls of this room, including the Logo of Squad ten. For this is a place for the Captain to call upon whatever she see's fit. | |

| She made a face a Deisuke's comment, almost pouting. The next second though she was smiling, nodding to what her captain had pointed out. "Exactly" she pushed her elbows together, rasing her 'orbs' up to show as she laughed softly. "You had better fear these deadly weapons" she teased followed by a wink. Her blue eyes went back to Yuei after "Better keep to that promise captain or I'll have to drag you out there myself" she said lightly, letting her elbows go back to her sides and her bust bounced back to its normal place just about radey to pop out from the confines of her robes. She leaned back into the couch, her expression making it clear that she was enjoiyng herself.
Though when Deisuke announced there was a situation her smile faded. "Jeez, they're still sending people out there? Just what in the world is going on?" her voice sounded concerned under her complaining tone. She knew that earlier several others had gone out to fight back some arrancars but she had thought all that would be over by now. "See ya" she called after the other lieutenant as he left, her eyes following him until he was out the door. A sigh made its wasy through her parted lips and she slumped forward, head resting in her hands. She smiled again though at her captain's last word, laughng even. "Thats right. Though I'll think I'll sit this one oue. Some one has to hold down the fort right?~" She watched Yuei step through the senkaimon and disappear into its bright light until she was no longer visible and that was when it came to a close. 'Well...Guess they're gone" she announce to no one in particular. She sat up and stretched her arms out above her head before twisting to lay down lengthwsie over the couch.

| Rangiku laid there for an amount of time she was unsure of. She was fading in out out of sleep, being more sprawled out over the couch each time she woke up. Now one leg was fully hanging of the side, the other propped up on the back. Her arms wer flung up above her head, leaving her unidorm to fall open slight more than she usually allowed it too. Firey locks of strawberry blonde hair had flowed over the cusions, soft knots leaving it a bit disheveled. Deciding she could find something better to do, Rangiku sat up, pullling at her robes just a split second before she wound up falling out of it. She swung her legs around so she was sitting properly. As she ran long fingers she looked around in a bit of a daze. the fact that she was still alone was the first thing she took notice of. "No one's back.." she said aloud for reasons unkown. It wasn't like anyone but herself was there to hear her. "I wonder how long I was asleep" Rangiku thought out loud in a somewhat still sleepy tone. She stretched her arms out above her head with a soft groan at the nice feeling.
"Well its not like I'm going to get anything done here" She wouldn't do anything productive anywhere really but being productive wasn't her intention. She just wanted to find some way to entertain herself. Rangiku chose it wasn't right to spend her time worrying over what was happening in the human world. Enough had gone to get the situation under control, no matter what it was. In fact she could imagine some leftover captains just standing around with nothing to do. As she opened the door she heard a conversation down the hall that even the head captain had gone. That was the cherry on top. There was really no reason to worry about any threat at this point. She thought so anyway. So Rangiku didn't feel bad about not going and using her time doing everything but work that had been assigned. Instead she strolled out of Yuei's office, her sandals making soft thudding noises on the floor as she walked down the hall, dodging any of the squad members that came after her to ask about what was going on, like she would really know. She made quick work of getting out of the barracks, a smile gracing her lips once she was free.

"But I must explain to you how all this mistaken idea of denouncing pleasure and praising pain was born and I will give you a complete account of the system, and expound the actual teachings of the great explorer of the truth, the master-builder of human happiness. No one rejects, dislikes, or avoids pleasure itself, because it is pleasure, but because those who do not know how to pursue pleasure rationally encounter consequences that are extremely painful. Nor again is there anyone who loves or pursues or desires to obtain pain of itself, because it is pain, but because occasionally circumstances occur in which toil and pain can procure him some great pleasure. To take a trivial example, which of us ever undertakes laborious physical exercise, except to obtain some advantage from it? But who has any right to find fault with a man who chooses to enjoy a pleasure that has no annoying consequences, or one who avoids a pain that produces no resultant pleasure?" |
