The space around you is stark, barren, and devoid of all but the most simple of decoration, a space designed purely on function rather than for any illusions of pleasurable scenery. The floor is a simple wood paneling, merging seamlessly into walls not unlike the rest of the Kidou Corps headquarters which form a simple block around the room, lined with bookshelves filled with information on Kidou and the applications and uses therof, as well as some more sparse books on other topics relevant to the work of a shinigami, books on hollow physiology and general fighting tactics, combat skills and the like. Of course, what one is most likely to be looking at should they come into the room for an acceptable reason is the desk which takes up space in the center of the room, immaculately ordered and precise, usually mostly clear with the papers upon it ordered into neat stacks for those the captain has yet to examine, and those who he has approved and stamped. those which have been rejected have no such stack, as if they are not acceptable, there is no reason to keep them around.
Often, the taicho of the kidou corps can be found seated behind this desk, usually working on some paperwork or another as needed.
