New RP Setup

We will be switching to a different site set up regarding how RPing takes place on this forum, now instead of location threads members will be able to make their own topic for an RP event. What does this mean? Well I'm sure a good portion of you know, but for those who don't here's a brief example.

I wish to RP in Karakura, specifically down town, now currently what I would do is go to the thread called Downtown Karakura and make my post; But, with this new system, I would go to the subforum attached to Karakura called "Downtown Karakura." and make my thread which contains the RP post I would have placed in the location thread.

To help us transition into this new set up, we are asking members to refrain from using the location threads and instead make their reply a separate topic with it's own unique title. Keep in mind you will have to use the thread tags and post the thread in it's appropriate location.

If you don't remember the post you need to reply to, go to Archives, then RP Archives, to find whatever it is you're looking for.


We're hoping this new set up will be easier and neater than what we had in the past. ^.^

I am confused about how this works.

It's not that complicated really o.o We use to have location threads like (for the sake of your example) Squad Two Office, in which one would RP there in the office specifically and have to exit the office to go to say.. Squad Three Barracks...

Well with the new set up, all you would have to do is make a thread called...Er..."Soifon Visits her man~" (you get the point x.x) in which you would set Soifon up in her office, then have her leave to the Squad Three Barracks, and visit your OC. Since there is no Squad Three Barracks, however, you would just say that she arrived at the aforementioned location all in one thread and possibly, one post.

Did that clear things up?

Just letting everyone know that the forums are all ready. Everyone can start posting their RP threads now.

Actually... everyone should go find the last post for each of their characters and repost it as their topic, with a title of course. That would get things rolling faster.

Good, I would assume that you have a lot of characters waiting on a post too, so that's good.

Should repost for Setsuna and maybe Ichigo when it comes time for him to wander upon the trolling XD

There are now a few RP threads up. Anyone who can't make their own. (People who don't have an idea or who aren't waiting on a post from someone.) Can feel free to join them.

I'd explain, but I'm busy atm. Any staff member who's online should help him out. Basically, it's like any other RP forum. What we had before was too messy and was preventing potential members from joining.

But it's so simple DX

Basically we now have location forums instead of threads, you make a topic in the location and type up your RP post o.o Your RP post will be a thread that has the option of being open for all or just those you've invited o.o

So if I were to go to Karakura town to battle a person, I'd write "Aiden's battle" Or somthing like that? And am I able to freely join into another person's Roleplay topic unless it's invite only? =w=

[In my opinion, invite only rules sort of suck because if I'm Aiden, I wouldn't wait for 2 people to finish having their 'sexeh tiems' to kill them. It would be more realistic to have people be able to come in and interrupt randomly (as well as funnier). ]
