Understanding Oblivion

As you have probably already noticed, we are a quickly growing Bleach-based Role-Play site. Our Site does not have a skill cut off, so as long as you’re willing to RP, we are willing to have you here!

So I have a fully drawn out group of steps with everything explained, but if you're one of the people who wants to do it by them self, be my guest. I have a cut and dry list of topics to read in order at the bottom of the topic. Either way you do it, you will be expected to have read all the topics listed. Though, do be warned, if you do not read this and talk to a mod or admin for help, they may just refer you here.

So, first off, this site is run by the great Mugetsu! She an awesome site admin who has had several RP groups before and does a great job making this a friendly, open environment to socialize and RP. Because of how quickly this site is growing and personal things, her hands are already overflowing, so let's discuss your contacts, the Co-administrators, or admins for short. We have Kizomaru Hotaru, but call her Kizo or Izaya in the CB, and, yours truly, nycboyLC but nyc or LC will do. If you are having any problems with someone, something, or need someone to talk to, we are your contacts. Sakura, Eon, and Caelum will be hovering about making sure everything is running smoothly and helping Mug out whenever possible. Everyone mentioned here is staff, which means they are the only ones allowed to act as staff. Please respect them at all times.

Ok, so now that you know who run this, here is a list of things you need to remember. Very basic, but just make sure your pretty familiar with them. If you want to talk to start socializing in the CB, read these as well. Pretty normal rules of courtesy.

Moving on to the important stuff. So you want to get to RP! Well you'll need a character, so you have to make a profile. If you want a Captain or an Espada, click on the words for information on what spots are taken. If you want to have your character fitted well for your RP skill, you can try out. Lieutenants and Seated Members do not need to try out; they only need approval from the captain of the division. Other positions, you need to try out to get ranked (don't worry about that for now). Please write what you’re trying out for as well, to make our lives easier. You can try out for a Visored position, but, even if you qualify, you may not get one, since there is one Visored per ten people, so the position fills up quickly.
Note: if you want a canon character, check here to see if your characters taken, then try out for the person. Canon characters fall under the same rules as the custom characters except they only need to post their stats here.

Ok, so you've tried out and Mugetsu, Kizomaru, or I told you that you have a certain position and a rank. What is a rank and how does it work? You should read this for clarification on how the whole system works. A good amount of people generally do not understand the system, so I recommend you go through it in detail. If you have questions, you can post right there and someone should help you.

Now you understand the RP system and have tried out, time to make your profile! First, you may have really good ideas, but we do need to limit some things, like these. Now look through here to find the template you need. Read this and go ahead and make your character! Once your character's done and approved, talk around to see where you can post with other people, or just post in here to inform others that you're available for RP.
