This is where you post your role-play sample to become a captain, Espada, or sin; obtain a visored or canon character, or obtain a bankai. You can only try out for one character at a time.

The RP sample can have any kind of setting, situation, or character. If you're trying out for a canon character, you must use the character you are trying out for in the sample.

There is no specfied length that it has to be, as quality is more important than quantity, but the longer it is, the better.

Post your sample in this topic and wait to be approved or disapproved. If you are disapproved, you cannot tryout again for a week. There are no third chances.

You don't really need to post an RP sample for just playing your Qunicy ^.^ Only captain, espada, visored, bankai. Those are what require a sample.

Maya ran blindly through the streets of Karakura town. The place which had once been her home felt almost alien to her now, the grey clouds above rumbled their disapproval of her as they opened up and let the rain start falling hard on the land below.

She had been taken to the Soul Society like every other, normal soul after having been almost eaten by something called a hollow and saved by a Shinigami but, once she got into the Rukon district, the place where the most souls seemed to be, she felt something else take her body over.
That something, she could tell, had no reason or inclination to give Maya her body back to she began to fight the mental binds that the thing had put on her which kept her in a place inside herself.
Maya had always been stubbourn and it seemed the thing had underestimated her in that aspect because, slowly but surely, she wrestled her body back from the ting, which seemed to be like the hollow that had attacked her before.
Once she had her body back, the next thing she had to do was run, SHinigami were flocking to the site of her distructive, hollow-induced rampage and she was sure that if they caught her she would be extended no mercy. Running through the forests surrounding the town she had massicered, Maya bumped into the chest of a tall Shinigami of average appearance, wearing a small grin which made Maya curl up more where she had landed amongst the plants and roots of the forest floor.
She was picked up around the waist and hung under the mans arm like a light sack, kocked out with the pommel of the mans sword when she struggled too much for him to shun-po properly.

When Maya woke up, she was back in the world of the living, laying on the grass near the river that cut through the city. The man was nearby and she was told to run, which she wasted no time in doing.
That is how her situation formed now, runnning from a shinigami who was takeing pleasure in her fear. She heard him say at one point that he was getting stronger from it but could have been a mistake on her part as she had been so focused on her running that she didn't notice much of anything else.

As Maya ran, time seemed to slow and she eventually came to a stop infront of a woman with short white hair, pale skin and black eyes. The woman, wearing only a black kimono with a white lotus flower pattern and seemingly untouched by the rain, make her way over to Maya and put a hand on the young womans head, making Maya feel warm and dry "Who are you?" Maya asked, noticing a pair of silver blue wings rustled on the womans back as she made her way around Maya's form with a scrutinising gaze
"You know who I am Maya, why have you not called me yet"
Maya wanted to say that the shinigami had given her no chance to draw the dagger, which was currently gripped in her left hand like a lifeline, but she could sense that this woman would take no excuses
"I don't know, I'm sorry" maya was suprised when the woman pulled her into a brief hug
"don't be sorry little one, you are young and still learning how to do things in the world" Maya wanted to interrupt, saying that she knew how to do things just fine, but the woman gave her no chance as she continued "but now you must call me out or you know you will die. You cannot keep running for much longer and, if you try, you will have no strength to fight" Maya nodded and the woman released her from the hug, saying "now, turn and fight little one. Call out my name"

Time returned to normal in an instant and rain quickly took away the feeling of warmth that had been given to her a moment before. Skidding to a stop, Maya turned to see the man at the end of the street, his sword resting on his shoulder as he wanted toward her at a leisurly pace "finally stopped running have you? very well then. Prepare to die quickly, little rabbit"
Maya saw the man rushing towards her, his sword held out infront of him, and held her hands out as if she was becoming a target with her dagger in her left hand and it's sheath in her right. Maya called out "Envelop them, Hyoumu" and gave a small smile as the mans stride faltered and became wary of the ball of glowing light covering each hand. When the light faded Maya had gloves created of skin-tight, black leather with a large gap on the back of each hand and a long, thin blade at the end of each finger "oh, so the little rabbit became a little kitten hmm? it's not like it matters much since you will die soon anyway The man resumed his attack on the girl, moving forward quick enough to make maya flinch and draw her hands to her chest as she moved.

Everything stopped once again as five thin lines of blood suddenly appeared on each of the man's cheeks "Little one, there is more than meets the eye wit my power but you will not be able to see the rest of me untill you have more experience. Move as if you are going to scratch at his face" with Hyoumu's voice in her mind, Maya had enough courage to go on the attack, moving to scratch at his face like Hyoumju had instructed but missed as he dodged back, having 'attacked' more of his chest than his face. once again five lines of blood appeared on the man, though this time they were harder to see where they had landed as the blood was harder to see against the man's black clothes
"You are going to pay for that little kitten"

maya felt something large building up inside of her as she dodged the mans attack, heading for her hands and making them sting and shake "Little one, if you don't use that energy now it will force it's way out of you and you will be left with no use of either hand, if you are lucky. Call out the name of this attack..." Listening to Hyoumu, Maya called out "Higetsu mikadzuki" and 'clawed' at the man once again. As her hands moved the blades shon blue-white and crescents of energy flew from the bladesd and towards the man, hitting him at almost point blank and making him fly back to slam against the side of the builing behind him, blood pouring from large gashes on his chest, neck arms and face.

Maya collapsed, completely spent, after that attack and when she awoke she found herself up a tree in one of the childrens parks, no-one in sight as it seemed to be around three in the morning. The rain had cleared off, though the clouds still rumbled darkly over head, and her dagger sat innocently in her lap.

Appearing in the world of the living just as the rising of the moon starts to take hold like a silk to the wind the darkness of the night is forced away, just under its illuminating rays stands a slim yet firmly fit figure standing 6ft tall. the figure appears draped in a black Shihakusho with a white shitagi, a black kosode, a black hakama, a white hakama-himo, white tabi, and waraji and a armband with the insignia of squad 11. He gazed forward with his dull gray irises that come to set on a horde of six gillion. "darn, now i see why the captain didn't want to handle this..he left me with such weak opponents.." gripping his zanpakuto he would inhale deeply letting his mind focus on the task at hand, once set he lets out a soft exhale before unsheathing his zanpakuto pointing it to one of the gillions. "heavens wrath will soon bath you in its light.." gripping his zanpakuto Toru he would take off in a sprint, each thrust of his legs bringing him closer and closer to the Gillion.


Reaching the first one he would catch a glimpse of the tree next to it, before attacking he darts of to the tree avoiding the large hand that was minutes from coming down upon his entire being. the Lt leaped onto the tree in a swift spin before flash stepping into the air so that he was at eye level with the gillion, raising his zanpakuto Toru he shouts out its shikai. "strike from the heavens and turn flesh to ash..Inazuma Toru!(lightning Thor)" with that said his shikai release his spiritual pressure in a crackling deep sea blue reiatsu rising his blade he would spot the second gillion behind the first.


The Lt would grin before turning his blade to where the sharp edge faced the gillion before speaking aloud. "Kokurai!"(black lightning) with that his words would echo through the air as he brought his blade down in a hastened slash causing his blade to turn engulf in reiatsu sending it in a long crescent slash causing the two gillion to slit from the head down in one swift notion. Before he could sheath his zanpakuto he leaps into a back-flip dodging the other gillion's hand to only feel it brush across his back, leaving his upper shirt torn he raised his blade into the air once more going clock wise with his blade it causes the blade to form after images before speaking under his breath. "Buredo danmaku" with that said the afterimages start to solidify and point towards the Gillion and with a thrust forward he sends the 6 blades towards the gillion.


Reaching the Gillion the blades would pierce its being but causing no damage or so it appeared, he would then speak softly while rushing the gillion as he does he would send his zanpakuto into the flesh of the beast reappearing in a flash step on the other side. "Denka" once spoken the blades would explode in a full body volt of electricity before falling hitting the ground in a loud thump. the Lt then sees there were two more he says softly. "i guess its time to finish this.." setting his pointing downward he would spin the hilt causing the blade to spin in mid air. "separate the clouds above and spread judgement!..Piasu Toru!" (piercing Thor) with the command spoke his zanpakuto would shatter and vanish into the wind moments before a bolt of lightning comes striking down in front of him forming a large 7ft tall scythe, griping the scythe he would spin it above his head causing the blade and staff to surge with now yellow reiatsu before shouting loudly. "Tenjo Gekido!" (heavens wrath) with that said he would cause the sky above the gillions to open and yellow lightning to surge above. while the Lt spun his scythe he would then come down and strike the ground, the lightning would begin to surge downward from the skies as well as the lightning from the blade would surge from the blade at ground level before rising under the gillion to meet the lightning from above causing the gillion to be struck with with lightning leaving holes throughout their body before vanishing.



the Lt then spun his scythe causing it to form back into its sealed state and sheathes it once more, peering around at the minimum destruction which were only a few destroyed trees he would turn on his heels in a swift motion before walking off into the horizon of the moon opening a senkaimon, the Lt would watch the hellbutterfly exit the opening doors to only circle his being as he started to talk inside, the bright light harming his eyes none the senkaimon closes behind him.

Haruka had just been briefed on the upcoming attacks expected to hit the Soul Society from a group of Espada. She had been ordered to set up the 4th squad in preparation for the operation. She made her way along the streets towards her squad barracks, her long silken hair swaying lightly with each step she took along the stone walkways in her usual graceful manner while her thoughts were on the preparations and orders she was to make as soon as she arrived at her destination. She would offer a slight bow of her head, a soft smile that curled her soft lips slightly or a slight wave of her left hand to those that were rushing past to get to their own posts and prepare, in the hopes that she could offer them a little encouragement and courage for the battle ahead.

As she reached the 4th squad barracks she went straight to the nearest shinigami she could find and ordered them to gather everyone in the main hall so she could begin telling them their strategy and ensure that all would be ready and on standby for when the chaos began. She stood at attention in the room, her Zanpakutō now held before her in both her hands, the weight of it a comfort to her and a reminder of her duty as she watched the squad assemble before her. The soft murmurings of the crowd gathered before her were not lost to her, even though she appeared to not notice it. She then raised her hand after they had assembled before her and she began to inform them of the current situation and their plan of action.

"I have called you all here to prepare for the upcoming attack upon the Soul Society. Intel states that there is a group Espada are going to attack us. I expect the battle ahead to be a difficult one for all involved to be alert and attentive. The other squads will be preparing for their own parts and we must do the same. I want this place set up with beds and trollies ready to treat the injured as fast as we can. Our job is to ensure that the number of casualties is kept to a minimum in this battle so do your best and remember to prioritize the injuries" she began in her melodic and soothing tones as she spoke her orders to the squad. She decided to make three groups for battle. One to head out to each squad for working the field and the other two on a rotating shift treating those that will be sent to the here.

From outside towards the east, an explosion could be heard followed by the alarm. She then dismissed her squad as they frantically went about their work as fast and efficiently as they were able to. After a few moments had passed and their preparation was completed Haruka walked out to the front and waited patiently, a slight frown on her face as she saw the explosions caused by cero from her vantage point, imagining the wounds and fallen that would be attended to. Suddenly the first wave of casualties arrived and she ushered them into the base to begin treatment. She followed after the group, not a look behind her to the chaos outside as she was solely focused on their current task of healing the wounded. She picked up a clipboard and started to go over the list of injuries and set her members to attend the most severely injured before attending to the minor injuries, returning those that were able to the field of battle.

The hours passed by as the squad continued to work long into the late hours when a stray cero landed outside and destroyed the outer wall of the squad's barracks. The battle had shifted and was now heading towards this part of town so she then barked out a few last orders and went outside, leaping up to the roof where she placed her blade before her holding it vertically as she bowed her head as though in prayer. Please offer me the strength to protect those in need. She then opened her eyes and turning her blade into a horizontal direction she spoke quietly beneath her breath "Protect their innocence Jundo" as she released her Shikai by pulling the blade from the sheath as she was enveloped in a pearl hued blast of energy and opening her eyes once more to the battle nearby.

She used her blades to intercept the attacks that went astray and towards the barracks, filled with those that were injured as the casualties began to rise. She also deflected a few attacks from blocking the entrance to the healing site before she then looked at one of the Espada heading towards them. It was charging what appeared to be another cero aimed straight for their hospital site. She leaped into the air as the blast came towards the building, her blades before her as she took the blast, knocking her back to land hard on the roof from the impact. She spat out a bit of blood and slowly got to her feet when another blast took her in the back. Haruka was unable to block it and was violently thrown from the top of the building onto the stone below.

In immense pain she got back up and turned around to look at the Espada that had attacked. She placed her hands together as though in prayer then returned to the rooftop to collect her blades. She then held them together as though she was looking through them,ignoring her own wounds as she closed her eyes. Jundo...we must protect them...no matter the cost to ourselves. she offered in a silent prayer as she was suddenly taken to her inner world, looking upon the holy kirin that stood in the field before her. It looked into the depths of her eyes as though they were having a silent conversation, locked together like that for what felt an eternity before the creature bowed it's head, it's horn tip suddenly thrust into her heart as she was suddenly returned to the scene before her.

Haruka felt a surge of energy from within her as her reiatsu began to swirl, a blinding mix of blue-green and silver light, her eyes glowing a bright blood red. She was engulfed by a large amount of spiritual pressure as she whispered quietly, the blades held against here chest over her heart "Junsui Na Sutaffu, Light the pure...bankai" as she activated her Bankai. She would then be standing atop the roof with an ornate staff in hand. She then held it before her and spun in a circle on the spot, the tip low to the ground at the beginning and stopping above her head as she had finished the 360 degree rotation, causing vines of silver, gold and crystal to shoot from the ground and entwining together to create a canopy above the barracks.

She frowned as she felt the Espada trying to get through it but the barrier was far too strong. She then held the staff vertically and closing her eyes concentrated, a ball of energy forming, beginning at the size of a pearl until it grew into a large orb. After she felt particularly large blast on the canopy she would suddenly unwind the vines in the center, hidden by the smoke from the blasts and explosions and let loose a blast of light that hit the Espada and engulfed it. The screams of the attacker echoed with those of the injured and wounded beneath the roof she stood upon before the blast vanished suddenly, the Espada incinerated by it before she suddenly became dizzy and lightheaded and fell.

She awoke later to find that she had fallen off the roof of the building in exhaustion from the immense amount of energy she had used but she had protected those that were within the barracks enabling the other shinigami to chase the attackers from the Soul Society and heal the wounded safely. Peace could once more be restored and repairs could begin upon the buildings that had been damaged in the attack. She placed her hand on her blade that had been laid beside her atop the covers and closing her eyes she offered a silent prayer of thanks to her Zanpakutō spirit, Jundo.

Tenkai you don't need a try out to be the lieutenant of a squad >.> Unless the character has bankai which one was not used in the try out so I have to assume he doesn't.

But it's Mugetsu's squad so she has to approve your character, just make the character profile and wait for her to say you can be the lieutenant.

Sakura you're post looks adequate enough to me for you to be squad four captain, all final decisions are made by Mugetsu though. If she gives you the seal of approval or if a co-admin comes in here after me and says they too approve then don't forget to make your Barracks and office in the Soul Society ^.^ But I approve the post.

I don't see it...I'd have to see a character profile because I can't tell what's bankai and what's not without the indication ><

(This is my try out for Orihime)

Orihime sat eating her strange lunch of curry chocolate and red bean paste, and enjoying it thoroughly. Today seemed to be going pretty well since it was Sunday and no hollows were showing up, so all in all it was a good day. Orihime smiled as she finished her strange and somewhat unappetizing meal "You ate it all!" she told herself happily patting her own head, she quickly cleaned up whatever crumbs or mess she had made while devouring her lunch and quickly washed what she had used. Orihime put her hands on her hips and grinned "Maybe I should go for a walk!" She thought aloud before going to her room and putting on street clothes "Where should I walk to?" she asked herself "The park?" she again asked herself aloud as she slowly walked to the door "Yeah the park sounds nice, I could do some shopping too!" She said happily grabbing her bag and opening the door. She quickly put on her sandals and began to walk down her stairs Orihime hummed happily as she walked along the street stopping to pet a cat every once and awhile "Heh kitty." She giggled as she pet another cat letting it rub its head against her hand "Do you have any friends?" she asked the cat that looked up at her blinking and replied with a "Nyan!" Orihime smiled at the cat "I bet you miss them." She said with a sort of sigh and stood up again "Good bye kitty-kun" she called as she walked away thinking about her friends that she missed dearly before hitting herself on the head "Stop being such a downer" she told herself as she walked "Kurosaki-kun wouldn't want you to be so sad!" She said to herself earning some stares from people walking by. Orihime continued on her walk humming and having a bit of a skip in her step.
