Tryouts (RP Samples Here!)

First topic message reminder :

This is where you post your role-play sample to become a captain, Espada, or sin; obtain a visored or canon character, or obtain a bankai. You can only try out for one character at a time.

The RP sample can have any kind of setting, situation, or character. If you're trying out for a canon character, you must use the character you are trying out for in the sample.

There is no specfied length that it has to be, as quality is more important than quantity, but the longer it is, the better.

Post your sample in this topic and wait to be approved or disapproved. If you are disapproved, you cannot tryout again for a week. There are no third chances.

If he comes back to reply..I say a week, maybe ten days will be a long enough wait. But I'll have it reserved.

It was a dark night, the silvery moon laid high above the scattered clouds and shined below giving a luminous glow to everything around. Deep within a cave far off from karakura town was a male visord, one that was in training. his progression could be heard from a mile away as his blade met with another setting off a loud clang then following that was heavy breathing and panting. the visord was known as kiru hatake former shinigami of squad 11 who now resides in the world of the living. His purpose for being within the cave at such a late hour was because of his intense bankai training, for days he had been practicing mantaining his bankai form while at the same time being able to use it without over exaughstion. Kiru now in his last days of training was testing his power against his own zanpaktuo who he had manifested not that long ago, kiru who had started the fight begun his bankai activation.

Bankai were the only words kiru uttered all night as he trained, suddenly a strong gust swept into the cave and swirled violently around kiru as a dense dark blue aura consumed his body. He then placed his zanpaktuo infront of himself as it to begun to glow, then seconds later he transformed. His appearance hardly changed as he only received a white hooded cloak that wrapped around the neck as a scarf, but as for his zanpaktuo it changed dramaticly. The hilt had a foot long dark blue cloth hanging from it as the hilt gave off a dark blue color design with a black diamond formation in the middle, the tsuba had two star shurikens in a horazontal vertical pattern with small bells embedded within it and the blade consisted of pure condensed sound and spirit energy.

"hauringumun no oto" (lit: howling moon sound)

now ready for battle kiru took off with a simple flashstep and appeared infront of his zanpaktuo sasu yona oto who in fact never used his bankai for this excerise since he only wanted to test kiru, kiru's first move took little effort to preform since he swung downwards directly at the zanpaktuo's shoulder but little did kiru know that the zanpaktuo used utsemi to leave kiru open for an attack. Sasu yona oto then appeared behind kiru with his own zanpaktuo in hand and drove it foreward cutting kiru lightly along his left shoulder. Kiru then dropped his left foot foreward as his own blade phased through the after image of his zanpaktuo, he then swung his right foot around with blunt force connecting to sasu's ribs causing some damage. Sasu then gripped kiru's leg as it connected to his side and flung kiru 10 ft into and quickly followed with a flashstep and appeared behind kiru. he then swung his right foot downwards onto kiru's back with great force plunging him into ground causing rock debris to fly and dust to fly everywhere.

Kiru then rolled over and hit his fist into the ground in frustation then pointed his zanpaktuo upwards...otonoha...was all he uttered as a medium sized ball of dense sound and spirit energy formed on the tip of his blade then it shot off directly at sasu's left shoulder which it did connect causing minium damage but it broke straight through his shoulder exiting through his back. sasu begun clapping then spoke calmly.

"so you where able to hit me? lets see you do it again.."

sasu then cocked his legs back and took off downwards headed for kiru, he then gripped his zanpaktuo firmly and swung horazontally at the ground. Kiru who at the last second dodged the attack with his own zanpaktuo used utsemi but before sasu could do anything he felt a sting to his back as kiru delivered a light vertical slash to his back.

"hmph...that wasnt hard"

kiru said in a cocky accent, then sasu throw a round house kick towards kiru but kiru blocked it with the flat edge of his blade. he then twisted his blade around and lifted it up as sasu flashstepped away from kiru, sasu then gave a light smirk and spoke.

"dont let your ego get to you"

kiru looked at sasu oddly but not for long as he flashstepped infront of sasu, he then swung downwards and clashed directly with sasu's zanpaktuo and was matched out in strength.

"kowareta oto"

as kiru spoke sasu's eyes widen with awe then suddenly blood begun to drip upon the floor, kiru had used a ability of his bankai which allowed him to call upon his zanpaktuo for battle aid but in a form consisting all of sound. Kiru's manifested zanpaktuo of sound pierced sasu directly through the back which had kiru thinking he had won which he did. sasu not feeling any pain stood up straight and looked directly into kiru's eyes before vanishing then kiru fainted, he over used his own power and was now tired which resulted in him faint.

I think it earns a Bankai, it's better structured than the last.

Inside an abandoned warehouse, there are two people. One, of these people are bound and tied. The other, standing over them, watching and inhaling the stale air of the old warehouse. There was no longer any sound from either of the people, except the heavy breathing of the free man, in the pitter patter of the rain falling around the warehouse, for it was a Sunday dampened by the rain and both people had been there for about two days, one torturing the other. The free man's shadow hung over the bound man as he thought of what he could do to the man next and finally when no thoughts came, the silence was broken.

"Have you had enough, James?"

The free man questioned James to no avail. James was unable to reply, after being subject to torture and deprived of food for days, his strength was severely weakened. He wanted to resist the man, insult him, spit in his face or anything, however, his body wouldn't allow him to do it. At this point, James had wanted to end the torture. He had done nothing to the man, yet the man did everything to him. His fingernails and toe nails were torn off, he was exposed to small amounts of acid, his hair had been torn out, his fingertips burned by the flame of a lighter, every possible thing that his torturer could possibly think of, and he had done nothing to deserve it.

When James looked at the man, it was clear to him that his torture would be coming to an end soon. The man was huffing and puffing and had been for a while. He was covered in sweat as well, and the look on his face betrayed him. It was apparent he no longer had any ideas on how to further punish James. After a while of stillness, the man moved to a corner of the room. There he found his bag which he went inside to find a knife. The knife had a black handle, and the blade was about 6 inches long. A sadistic smile appeared on his lips but just as soon it faded. He had no motivation to torture anymore. Since James no longer had the strength to scream even in pain and terror, there was no joy in it.

With that thought, he decided that James death would be quick and probably painless. He returned to his position by James. He lifted the knife high above his head, and just before he could drive it into the center of Jame's stomach, a thunderous sound was heard and the man dropped to his knees, then fell flat on his face. Someone had put a bullet in the back of his head. Jame's tried to see who was at the door, however, his vision was too blurry and he was fatigued. He fell unconscious, without the chance to recognize his saviour.

War....War never changed, it was a bloody violent waltz that was danced to music made of mens last dying breath and the pounding of gun fire, as it was played to a tempo made by the clashing of swords. Why? Why must people fight over petty differences? Why must we be forced to weep for loved ones lost in battle? Those tears alone could fill the oceans of the world twice over...No war never changed, but the people who fought it did. Entire generations had been lost to these bloody conflicts, entire generations will be lost in the future......War never changed, and nether did the sorrow it brought. Humanity it seemed was an idiotic race, most creatures avoided those things that brought them sadness and pain, not us....Never us. Humanity seemed to seek out hardship, why else would we wage war over something as insignificant as land? Or age old disputes? It was sickening.

Why then was he there? Why had he forsaken everything he had been taught? What had happened to his lofty ideals? Why was he making war instead of love? Hell Bronze had been dreaming of nothing else for the past few weeks, ever since he had been woken, rather rudely from his bed and told to report. Well that was the day he had be told about this rather spontaneous war, it was also the day he was told that his "Unique talents where needed". Those words had spelled the doom of his ideals...And he couldn't do anything but let them die. He had made a weapon....A weapon that he hated, but he had made it none the less.

So he stood on the deck of this weapon he had helped create, it was a master piece of alchemical and mechanical design, though this may or may not have made it the most obvious ship in the entire fleet. Its deck was just over a seventy paces long and 20 wide, it was constructed of light weight yet strong reflective metal alloys and was manned by a crew of forty men. Everything about it seemed stock standard other then the banks of high intensity spotlights arranged in columns and pyramids so that there where always at least ten of them with in five feet of another, these light banks where found on every side of the ship.

The battle had been joined some minutes before and still Bronze stood motionless at the prow of his ship and looked out at the incoming ships. He knew each of these lights inside and out, each had four thousand candle watts of power behind them that meant there effective range was just over half a mile, that also meant the destructive force behind each of these seemingly out of place spotlights was equivalent to eight hundred grams of high explosive, more then enough to blow a good sized hole in any of the on coming ships.

Was he going to do it? Was he going to take a life with his talent? His gift? He already knew the answer...He was here it was kill or be killed...."Put us just ahead of our kings.... Yacht.. and ready the forward lights" His ship began to move ahead and positioned its self in front of Wolfys royal ship. The forward lights came on and Bronze took his place in the center of that particular cluster of lights."Take aim!!!" the men handling the light's targeted random members of the enemy's ragtag fleet....He readied his alchemy his alchemy...The transmutation circles on his wrists started to glow and he could see in his minds eye the gathering of energy in front of each of the lights..."Fire..." his last word came out as nothing more then a whisper, for it wasn't the soldiers that pulled that trigger...Ohh no.......Not a second after that he finished the transmutation and death that traveled at the speed of light struck at the enemy fleet, and nothing would implicate his ship...Other then the odd winking of his lights.

The effect was the nearest thing to instantaneous you could find with in the laws of physics. Eight of the shots struck home on some of the small boats, and a split second later their was nothing left but debris and a fine mist. The other two shots had gone wide striking with explosive force next to their intended targets. For the briefest of second's the ocean seemed to boil and steam erupted from the surface of the water.

It was sad really, how easy it had been to turn his talent into a weapon...How easy it was to corrupt something that was meant to bring joy and happiness to people...Tears came to his eyes then as he imagined the people he had just killed...The lives he had just taken. "Aim!!!" He would do what he needed just then....And he would deal with the consequences after words...."Fire..."
