| Located next door to the Captain of squad 2, This is the Office of Hitomi Kitano Lieutenant of squad 2. It is located across the corridor from the captains office. A large window brightens up the room and is almost always open, allowing fresh air to come in. Her des sits on the side wall with a larger than needed wooden chair behund it. A couch sits on the opposite wall with a small table infront of it. An empty shelf sits by the window, only decorated with a small vase on the middle shelf that usually has a few roses in it.

| Hitomi made long, forced strides over to her desk where she not so gently set the paperwork down. A soft breeze found its way into her office through the opened window and she breathed in the fresh air, wishing she could go out and enjoy the weather. An overdramatic sigh was released from her lips as she walked around her desk to flop back into her chair.
Picking up a bobby pin from the wooden urface of the desk, she pinned back the silky blonde hair that would normally hang freely in her face, hiding a beautiful shining eye of icey blue. Those eyes stared at the papers for what seemed like an eternity before Hitomi finally set her mind to get them down. She shot up in her seat, leaning her petite frome over the desk and quickly finding the quill and ink. No time was wasted as she set off right away, setting a pace good for how much she didn't want to be doing this. After two sheets of documents that pace was fading and the number of complaints that reached no ears were increasing.
"Ugh..My hand hurts. Its really not fair that Captain left me with most of the work while he took that small pile. I swear that guy." by now she was fuming, blurting out whatever words would pop into her mind with no restraint. She was quiet about it though, afraid to let the object of her complaints hear her. That would be the absolute worst.

| Halfway through her 'torture' Hitomi had nearly made her throat ache with the lines of curses and mummbled words of true hatred. Her hand was shaking and her grip on the quill was much stronger than it needed to be. Her writing nearly left holes in the sheets and due to a little accident her free hand was covered in ink and had, without her knowing left a print on her face where she propped her head up.
"That it!" she finally announced, shooting up from her seat and letting goof everything. It was time for a break. In other words it was time to ditch and leave this work for somebody else. Surely somebody would stumble upon the unfinished documents and get the hint.
"Just to be sure..." the blonde murmured to herself, grabbing a blank sheet of paper and picking up the quill again. Deciding this would be the last thing she ever wrote in her life, Hitomi jotted down a note reading:
'Hey. Do This'
She set the paper down infront of the paperwork. Drawing an arrow on her note that pointed to that to the stack.
"Clear enough" she nodded approvingly with a huge smile, turning on her heels with a bit of a leap as she headed out of her office, unaware that she might have looked foolish to some with the huge black mark on her face.

| Tageshi Ryonnen A subtle black butterfly with pink lining flutters into the Captain's office. It twirls around, leaving its trail before landing in the captain's desk. If any were to touch it, it would deliver the following message in the message of Ichibantai's fukutaicho Tageshi Ryonnen: Sotaicho has given the temporary authorization for shinigami to carry their zanpakto's and travel to Karakura Town to engage any hollows. All shinigami are commanded, though, that at the slightest sign of a chance of defeat on either side, the shinigami is to retreat. No Arrancar deaths are allow. Please coherece all threats to return to Hueco Mundo. Provide any necessary help to the hollow for this coercion to be as forcable as necessary. For more information, please come to Ichibantai's Office and speak to me, Ichibantai Fukutaicho Tageshi Ryonnen. This message is to be given to all shinigami. | |

"But I must explain to you how all this mistaken idea of denouncing pleasure and praising pain was born and I will give you a complete account of the system, and expound the actual teachings of the great explorer of the truth, the master-builder of human happiness. No one rejects, dislikes, or avoids pleasure itself, because it is pleasure, but because those who do not know how to pursue pleasure rationally encounter consequences that are extremely painful. Nor again is there anyone who loves or pursues or desires to obtain pain of itself, because it is pain, but because occasionally circumstances occur in which toil and pain can procure him some great pleasure. To take a trivial example, which of us ever undertakes laborious physical exercise, except to obtain some advantage from it? But who has any right to find fault with a man who chooses to enjoy a pleasure that has no annoying consequences, or one who avoids a pain that produces no resultant pleasure?" |
