Kisho Genjuro, Lieutenant of Squad Thirteen

*Personality: Leaders do not need to be likable, they need to be respected. Genjuro embodies this ideal with every breath of his being. He is a firm and stable person who is slow to anger but quick with a response. He has little patience for whelps, whining, complaints, and those seeking pity. While Genjuro can be a harsh leader and might seem apathetic, he is truly very concerned for those around him. He treats his comrades with little tolerance because he knows that the enemy they face won't grant them any breaks on the battlefield. Genjuro is leading of soldiers, not cloistered babes.

Once you look past the rugged iron exterior of the Lieutenant of squad Thirteen's exterior you find a strange center. Genjuro has a very dark and odd sense of humor. Often finding things that most consider morbid or strange to be humerus. Not only does he have an odd sense of humor but he has an immense fondness for wine and tobacco. Nearly always carrying a pipe or bottle of soshu.

*Bio: Being born in thee days of the Sengokujidai a man into something very different than most. In a time when men were only as valuable as thier sword arm only those men worth more than most survive for long. In the days before honor and Zen samurai were little more than simple killers with a social standing. Genjuro was even less than that, he lacked a social position. Genjuro was born to aroadhouse whore with some estranged samurai as a father. Being a bastard created a sense of insecurity within Genjuro's mind. Beyond anything else he wanted to be more than just some peasant. As a child he ran in the forests of acient Japan and battled the other children with sticks and staves. When he was barely old enough to take a woman he was standing on the blood soaked fields under the employ of Tokugawa.Spear in hand, Genjuro, survived his first battle and granted him his plunder of a sword and some armor. His first battle was one of many victories. Eventually building a reputation as a noble slayer. This earned him the ire of many less skilled people of soft birth. Genjuro's death came swiftly and unexpectedly. One night during and soshu binge after a successful skirmish left Genjuro in a stupor. During that night he was challenged to a fight to the death by one such shamed samurai. The samurai slew the drunken ronin and moved on. Genjuro ascended to Soul Society in a fury.

Years of drinking and anger followed. Too many years. His skills dulled as did his sense of anger, and so he saw his new path. The path of the warrior was alive and well in this new world, and, they were always in need of skilled fighters. Slowly Genjuro's skills returned. Throughout the centuries countless hollows fell to Genjuro's blade as he slowly grew more powerful. Time proved to be the greatest sharpening stone as Genjuro rose in power in the Seventh squad. The long string of victories and respect that Genjuro gained through his loyal service made him shine ever brighter. It was only, however, when the lieutenant seat to his squad became open that he truly gained the position he had longed for. Finally he stood near the top of the ladder. He would only have to answer to those who had earned their place.

*Physical Appearance: Genjuro wears the bottom portion of his normal uniform on a daily basis, however, his sense of style has changed little since he was alive. He almost always tops his uniform with a pink or red silk loose fitting robe embroidered with flowers dragons, and other symbols. This top is a fitting comparison to his hair. A massively long dark auburn tangle of hair sit's atop his head. This hair is almost always tamed by pulling it back into a tight qi (Long ponytal) to keep it out of his way.

Clothing aside Genjuro is a warrior. He has a barrel chest and massive shoulders. The lieutenant's arms are likely as wide as most people's legs and each muscle is toned, worked, and perfected. This chisled and perfected body leads to a face that most wouldn't find alluring. genjuro has somewhat small harsh eyes and a thin mouth pulled into a grimace usually. He has a high forehead that gives more intensity to his arched eyebrows.

Inner world appearance: Genjuro's inner world is a vast and expansive tea house. The infinite amount of rooms are all separated by thin layer of rice paper. The building is eerily silent at all times and very dim. The only light being from a single candle in each room.

Zanpakutō

*Name: Kamikaze
Zanpakutō spirit:

Appearance: The vengeful storm that is Kamikaze takes the form of a slender and severe woman in her mid forties. Her sea green eyes are constantly swirling and glaring disapproval at all things. The tall and thin woman is clad in a matron's kimono that is a deep and murky green of the raging sky she embodies. The kimono itself is decorated with blue swirls and jagged white lightning bolts.

Personality: She is the mother of storms and the matron of the sky and demands that respect. Kamikaze is a strong willed and serious woman with no time for jokes or jests. She always speaks plainly and is quick to anger when speaking to unsure people. Beyond her matronly visage is a caring and protective mother who wishes to protect all of those under "her sky".
*Sealed form: The sealed form is a simple katana in an old leather-bound saiya. The only distinct feature is the strange greenish hue to the steel itself.

*Call out phrase: "Ire, Kamikaze!"

*Shikai: The weapon becomes less than solid when Kamikaze is released. She turns from a katana to a swirling torrent of incandescent crackling reiatsu. the saiya become a gleaming sea green gleaming wood sheath that is dripping droplets of shinning reiatsu. The blade itself is hidden beneath this swirling mass and is difficult to pinpoint it's exact location. The weapon becomes light as a feather and sharp as the wind herself.

Storm Shout: The most basic attack other than simple slashes comes when Genjuro sheathes his weapon. The power of Kamikzae is contained within the saiya and it begins to shake and pulse with power. Genjuro then simply has to draw his weapon to unleash the force in a short range blast of punishing reiatsu in the form of shimmering whirlwinds and booming thunder.

Storm Cleave: Te is often Genjuro's finishing stroke for weaker foes. Storm Cleave is a quick and powerful strike that is normally executed after he off balances an enemy with a feint, push, or Storm Shout. Genjuro sheathes his weapon and then quickly performs a draw-slash that turns the rage of the storm into a surgical slice. The cutting surface of Kamikaze is extended two or three feet as a translucent whip of reiatsu as well as increasing the force and speed of the attack. This strike can easily sever limbs or spines if undefended.

Eye of the Storm: A defensive power granted by Kamikaze. The weapon is grasped in both hands and held close to the chest as Genjuro focuses. The reiatsu that swirls around the blade of Kamikaze spins outward to form a whirling razor sharp tornado around Genjuro. This technique does not actually stop anything only cuts anything that enters it's radius like steeping into a storm of daggers. This works very well for deterring physical threats.

Suzano's Breath: Perhaps the Most lethal of all of Genjuro's attacks. While most of the strikes and even defenses of Kamikaze are wild and furious like the storm herself this strike is precise and far-reaching. As with all other attacks Genjuro first sheathes his weapon. The next stroke is nothing like the other two though. His draws weapon in a flash of light and the crash of thunder as a spear of razor edged reiatsu leaps from the tip of his weapon at a blinding speed. This attacks cuts through out what it strikes and flies for four or five hundred yards, leaving fist sized holes in what it strikes.

Bankai- Not yet achieved

*Bankai name: Sora no yogo-sha Kamikaze
*Bankai description: The form of a simple sword can not contain the power of the storm. The weapon and saiya shatter entirely into twists of reiatsu and take on a dark swirling visage of a hurricane cloud around Genjuro. They then condense into a blade billowing storm cloud in the shape of a nodachi that seems to leap towards any foe's who draw near him. The blade can take any shape Genjuro wills it and is less an edge and more a wising mass of reiatsu razors that strike vicious and ragged wounds on any cut by it.The weapon weighs nothing and can be dispersed into a gloom of clouds that follow Genjuro if he needs use of his hands. The weapon howls like a hurricane wind and shouts deafening thunder with each strike.
*Any abilities/techniques:

Reach of the Sky: This technique twists Kamikaze into a swirling spike of spinning reiatsu. The tendril is than extended, contracted, and manipulated at Genjuro's will. Allowing him make attacks from many directions or strike at long range.

Ire of The Sky Mother: This strike is a manifestation of Kamikaze's rage against her foe. She explodes with a ear-shattering crash of thunder and expands in all directions from Genjuro as a mass of swirling reiatsu blade and walls of pushing force. This attack can shred weaker foes into ribbons.

Sky Mother's Embrace: A destructive and more aggressive version of eye of the storm. This technique ruptures Kamikaze into six black swirling columns of reiatsu and crackling barrier of the same power around Genjuro. This columns of reiatsu will throw objects and people hitter and thither if they enter them not to mention cutting them apart. Each barrier is also a strong shield against attacks against genjuro that move to guard him without him having to think about it.

Call Down The Sky: Kamikaze's most powerful attack. This single strike combines the powers of the previous attacks into one strike. The blade shatters into numerous black tendrils of reiatsu clouds and launch themselves up and over like a scorpion at their target while some fire along the ground to box the target in. As each tendril comes into contact with it's target or a solid object it explodes into a blast of razor edged reiatsu and force that throws dirt, dust, and blood in many directions. This attack is designed to strike numerous areas cutting off the foe's escape and strike them with several explosions.
